The box weight won't make much/any difference if I increase the size of the box to fit 10 sets.

With 2.5lb weight, it will cost $21.74 to ship plus the cost of the box, say $2? Your increase will be only $3-4.

That shipping cost will be up to 3.3 lb when I checked.

Elton looks like this GB has been up for a week and numbers are going strong, something tells me even if we don't hit MOQ on all sets in a month the company would be crazy if they don't take on the production, we should have healthy numbers in a month.

Elton, given that I've ordered a few sets (1x each + 3x black), may I request to have a few of the space bars that others don't want?

If it's too much of a hassle to sort out, that's totally fair enough, might be easier to just ship spacebars to everyone even if they didn't want one.

But I'm going to try building a few 6.5 unit ones using a sharp blade, some glue and some sandpaper, or possibly using the dremel and melting the plastic, or possibly by throwing them at each other **really hard** and hoping they undergo some kind of molecular fission and just pop out as 6.5's lol.

Either way, a few spares would certainly come in handy.

My earlier post.

Just got the kitchen scale. I got a mix of SP DS and poker OEM keys and the weight was 111g which is about 3.9 oz

For each set is 111g or 3.9 oz that I weighed with 104 keys (same amount of mods and keys of same size to get a more accurate weight of each key)

Sorry, I don't have a definite deadline since this GB won't likely happen if the MOQs aren't met. 

I am giving it one month time to reach it - not too bad considering other GBs have much longer deadlines and this GB is the largest GB ever (with 2500 sets, over 260,000 key caps)!

How is that factored into the cost at the moment?

Yes. With air it is around $700 to ship to me per colour.  With 5 colours, it will be 3500$. I haven't received a better estimate for sea shipping yet.

So depending on the number of people ordered at the end, the cheaper the spread will be.

I will be supplementing the cost of shipping as well, up to $2000. 

I can't give any final numbers yet as I don't know the duties I will have to pay..
