I don't think this has been asked yet: Will these have a 6 stem spacebar for Leopold FC200R compatibility?

I don't know for sure, but I assume the spacebars will be similar to Ivan's other PBT GBs. These only had 4 stems (for modern boards like Filco and vintage Cherry boards).

I don't get this. You don't have to pay any money right now. Invoices will be sent after MOQ was reached.

If everybody did this we would never reach MOQ...

If you are so sure about ordering please just submit your order now. If anything changes in a couple of weeks you can still cancel it  :thumb:

A wise man. This times 1000.

No the spacebar is only compatible for standard (ie Filco, CM QFR, Poker, Ducky, etc) and Cherry mount.

I was trying to decide what to do about those who want the extra 4 keys in the sets... I think I will just make it a separate item instead of increasing the cost for everyone. I suppose it can be useful for other purposes that way to buy as many additional 4 keys as you may need. If you require those keys please re submit your order in the form.

Ordered, may change to printed depending on the sample, I just hope it will be a deep shade of black and not charcoal.

Can you double check on the space bar?   Feng is selling Thick PBT's from Imsto too and he claims they are compatible with the Leopold.  Maybe they were revised since then?

Just thinking outside the box - if they do work on the FC200R this might attract more buyers for the MOQ.

Half the sets feng has were from my earlier groupbuy and are certinaly not Leopold compatible spacebar. The spacebar have 4 stems 2 on the outside for normal stabs distance and 2 in the center section for the switch.

A plank would be fine, as long as it shows the printing and the colour. Even just a big square area is good. Thanks for looking into this.

This should provide compatibility with both OEM (filco, etc) and Cherry keyboards.

How do you differentiate PBT blank with normal blank keycaps?

pbt will feel different (more textured to me) while abs feels more smooth. Also, pbt will not shine or take a lot of time before shining.

Also, these keycaps are thick and cherry profile while most keycaps you will have on stock keyboards are oem profile and thin. It's all about personal preference, but many people prefer thick keycaps and the cherry profile since it gives the feeling that the keycaps are more stable and sturdy and it absorbs more sound.

Honestly, I was surprised when I tried my first thick pbt keycaps with cherry profile set because it really had a BIG impact on the typing experience, all positive for me.

Hello Ivan, I must thank you for doing this because I was looking for a black blank PBT cherry set but every where was sold out.
Unfortunately I won't be able to order yet, maybe in a week-two weeks, but will put a order if orders mysteriously rise quickly.
How would we cancel it later? Would we send a message to you later?

Edit: signed up anyway, since it's paypal, it's under my mom's name, but provided both names incase.

Orders close mid-January - you have plenty of time even to order at the last minute.

Each set weighs about 7 ounces. You can go on USPS postage calculator to estimate. I ship first class by default unless priority is cheaper or it is specifically requested.

Extremely unlikely.  There are only two options to keep it simple.  If a 60% set was added then it would have to reach MOQ in and of itself, which is even more unlikely.

I don't know what those samples change for you.

Do you really think Ivan would produce a set that looks ****ty?

In my opinion it would be better if everybody who is interested in this set just placed an order, so we have an actual interest count. Right now people might look at this GB and think it's not even worth thinking about participating because it won't happen anyway since we haven't even reached 1/4 of MOQ.

If the samples turn out to look like crap and Ivan still decides to go for it (which won't happen), you can still cancel your order - nothing lost for you...

I've placed an order for 2 blanks and 1 printed. But if the printed is more gray and visible than I'd like I'll cancel my printed. Just saying though, what people are looking for with the printed set varies.

Get those orders in guys, Ivan will be no doubt confirming orders closer to invoice date so you have plenty of time to pull out if you don't like the examples or don't have the cash.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

i don't understand how people can't see the legends on the rf boards....there is an extreme amount of contrast there

+1 I wanted something much more subtle. I admit I am afraid the blank black will be gray colored keys like RF as well. I was hoping it would match my black Filco case.

It can't really be black black, because then only blank, engraved, lasered is possible. It's like rich black vs. process black... it's still black.
