This was expressed and addressed in the geekhack IC (as well as some trolling for the first post of the gb...) a little while ago, but there wasn't enough interest and practical use to warrant adding it to the kit.

why do you tally up the total MOQ count with our Asian counterparts but their key combination is different from here?

The set configuration is the same, you are just seeing the set that my proxy proposed to me. More Koreans prefer that type of config (according to him), but they are aware of the actual configuration.

so the Asians have the Esc keys, while here we do not, right? meaning, there will be less than 250 Esc keys for the MOQ, or the Asians will keep the Esc keys that was supposed to be in our GH gb?

As I said, no, The kit the koreans are ordering is the exact same as the one we are ordering, it's my kit.

That photo in the kbdlab link is not the kit being ordered, it's a photo that my proxy wanted me to produce. No difference between the Korean orders and ours

still kinda noob since i don't own another other layout except ansi 1.25

so this doesn't include the win key?

if i get this for the QFR 1.25 ansi i will only have ctrl alt shift ? that would not look that great right?

The point of a kit like this is to use it with a keyset that is either very subdued or very bright. Cherry BoW and WoB are more common examples. IF there were to be windows keys, what color would they be? CMYW is only 4 colors!

I personally think it looks pretty cool without the winkey, but with keyboards, everything is personal.

Sure, that would be fair. I'm not sure how many koreans are going to drop, but it could be a decent number. They really really really wanted this set apparently:



I don't understand that but I guess they would have wanted |\ and escs. Would have looked weird and out of place. Also, the purpose of this set was simple modifiers, in white, and to match all ANSI legends with the two ISO legend shifts added in. The time for suggestions was the IC.

I disagree. IMO, the point of CMYW/K is that the CMY sticks out as a classic composition. No need to toss a bunch of unrelated colors in just to kill up the mods ;)

Is there any way to check our orders without asking you dubs? Seems like a nuisance in every group buy when every one is asking about orders

The extra colours could just be add ons so it doesn't have to affect your choice.

I guess I missed the question about the 2x shift. There are a few others besides 11900/11800 that use it like the Minila/Tex/Pure Pro... but then you would need a silly 1x shift too... ) Even still I am not sure how many people would want this pack that own any of those, if it is enough to warrant having it in here.

There are a ton of bonus 1x keys in each profile everywhere. The 2x is the only difficult one to populate. Using the + key from my num pad set from Miami.
Anyways, was just stopping by to check on orders. If I haven't put a form in for two [ i think i have ] I definitely want two sets.
If I put in a second order, it's easy enough to cancel one right?
