What's spumoni?

it's an italian style ice cream.  cherry, pistachio, and chocolate.  it's pretty good.  you should try it sometime. :)

Ahh ok sounds pretty good, when I saw it in the thread I though CC was just typing nonsense lol

Wait is spumoni the same as Neapolitan?
Edit: Nvm, cherry as opposed to strawberry, I think.

Neopolitan is chocolate, vanilla, strawberry.  Spumoni tastes quite different with pistachio and cherry.  I love pistachios. :)

I missed contest :(
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I think trading should be fine.

It is just the profiteering that bums me out personally, and what kind of took the "fun" out of it for me. Though this sale got me excited since I really like some of the colors that were included. I also do not mind at all that prices have been raised. Better that it goes to the creator than the middle man, and it reduces the opportunity for profiteering.  I have been pretty lucky on 4grabs and got in this time as well.

Well, if I get T I'll keep it. If I get slushy for Topre, I'll also keep it, probably. If I get E I'll trade them on most probably.

Definitely agree like most people it seems, that the price raise is good but I disagree that it reduces the opportunity for profiteering, re-sellers will just up the prices more to compensate.

I'm with ya on that one, I put in for S, C, and Q, intending to give a friend of mine Q for his birthday. However, he's not big on the whole 420 thing anymore, so I'm gonna hopefully be able to trade it for another Clack or a couple Brobots or Bingecaps.

If someone lists one of these 'new' clacks for sale for a large markup the best thing for people to do is just not pay it.

Yeah unfortunately when it comes after such rarities then you'll always have a problem with people looking to profit. It seems like CC might have a lot more than in previous sales though, seems like lots of people got the nod from the activity in this thread.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

I am not sure how this will pan out. What I personally would expect is that market prices for clacks are not directly related to their retail price, and people's willingness to pay for them remains unaltered. In that case, there will be less to gain from re-selling clacks. Though this is just speculation and I really do not know what will happen, since the prices of "collectors items" do not seem to follow the logic of normal goods.

I agree with Spamray that in the end, it would be best if people would not buy at inflated prices. Though of course, that is impossible to control (I myself have also paid more than triple times retail for some items, though I regretted it and since then, I have decided not to take part in this kind of thing).

It seems rather...easy. I had expected something harder. (well maybe the hard part was sending the PM in before everyone else)
Of all the entries only one person guessed it. So...  ;)

If it's Miami I'm going to cry.
