Mouse Recommendation
« on: Thu, 20 March 2014, 13:11:22 »
I in the market for a new mouse and wanted to get an expert opinion this time
Requirements:
-Usable for FPS gaming
-Under $100
-Wired
-I'm used to fatter shaped mouses like these:
http://www.walmart.com/ip/22339619?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&adid=22222222227000000000&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=t&wl3=41833582510&wl4=&wl5=pla&wl6=19880599990&veh=sem
http://www.cyborggaming.com/prod/rat7.htm
So that would be a huge plus, but not a dealbreaker :)
I also have a claw grip.

Since you're doing FPS gaming I recommend an optical mouse.

If you want a fatter shaped mouse I would say get the Mionix Naos 7000 which is on massdrop -> https://www.massdrop.com/buy/mionix-naos-7000
I think this is what you might be looking for.

Otherwise I'd suggest these to start you off with the.
Zowie EC EVO CL, Logitech G400, CM Spawn, Death Adder, SteelSeries Rival,

Let us know your grip style if you don't like those and need some more feedback!

Naos is too flat for claw grip, I'd recommend looking at something like a Zowie or Spawn/Xornet.

definitely try out the ec before you buy it, as I found that many (including me) find the right slope to be too slanted, like \, so it would be hard for me to pick up the mouse as effortlessly as an ambidextrous mouse. But if that shape works for you, then it is a great mouse. I personally would recommend the kana v2, if you can get it, and use the tape trick.
