got a Dell Venue 8 Pro windows 8.1 tablet
Learning how to use Win 8, seems a lot of stuff is a bit borked imo.
The fact I can't close apps/programs and i have to use task manager to end task is ridiculous.

And Firefox/Chrome isn't optimized for it, so if I use those browsers i'd end up getting like 30% CPU usage compared to using IE that only does 5-12% usage.
So i'm forced to use IE, blah

Ok so HUGE shout out to Foxer!!! Guy is a proper legend! I paid nothing for this and still got it faster than 99% of the stuff I order with next day delivery! Also came with a super awesome and slightly confused note and some bonus caps!! So happy, typing on brows is a much nicer experience than I assumed and having such a smaller board is a huge benefit and it makes using the mouse alot easier!!!!!

So here are some pics of it as it arrived, when I updated it with Miami and with its bigger brother!

Yeah it took me a good year to get that set, one of the coolest things I've done with GH was track down all the cherry sets i could find... like a treasure hunt... especially for ISO stuff... but yeah I'm still missing some things... like a newer style bottom row 0 for the number pad and del keys aswell as a proper \ ISO key as the one im using is not the right profile :P

you justtttt missed out on a 103 EUR shipped 1000HAG with purple pad printing over at DT with 7bit..I bet that would have been the perfect set for you

shame I don't use ISO, the 9009 shift is pretty sweet :)) I've got my own 9009 set

No, no, I didn't actually get that in the mail. That was just a picture of the 1000HAG that 7bit was selling, relevant to the small discussion above.

I was considering getting it though.. Very nice board!

If you're upgrading your PSU, surely you have more upgrades coming that require that extra juice?  Stop holding out on us!

Also, I like your new name tag.   :)

Thanks, shoutouts to HipsterPunks for that amazing name tag :D.

And yeah I'm quietly buying up parts. Just got a CPU cooler but I'm just waiting for some great deals and then buying those. I'm in no rush, it's a slow upgrade this time around.

Got my Dodgycaps yesterday.

my original order. Lavender mister, lime fizz mister, and aurora blank

On top of a separate bundle of bubble wrap, I found this

Which contained this (unannounced, unnamed keycap)

It kind of reminds me of the Songbird from Bioshock Infinite

The whole group together

The whole group lit up

(sorry for the crappy pics. my autofocus on my 18-55 lens broke and I haven't gotten a chance to get it repaired, so I have to deal with manually focusing while being nearsighted (quite the chore))
