Been going through an SP Crap Bag? ;)

I have a few of those DSA caps.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Cut down the Apple PCB, put it into a Poker case.  = Both are the standard layout.
As you know, Alps SW keycaps  for the Apple Ext 1 and 2 are identical.   and to be Wired to an USB controller

40% is crazy, does this still having the full size keyboard's functionality through secondary key strokes?

Yes, full TKL fucntionality through function layer.

WOW!!   No dedicated 40% case yet?

We are still working out the details. I have made a couple viki style cases for mine. PCB is being finalized now. :)

my keyboards all have tooooooo many keys , help me JD

I've been using 60 percent boards for about a month already.

After I got my Originative Dolch set, I felt like it would look better on my CM tkl.

I put them on my tkl and started using it replacing my 60 percent board.

It made me realize how difficult it was to move my hands so far off the home row to reach over to the right to use the arrow keys.

I'm pretty sure I'm a 60 percent convert, now.

I'm looking to see what comes of the 40 percent board.

I love my HHKB.

Does the SSK still count as "mini"? :D

And also as a split variant:

Great!!!  So Impressed!      IBM Space Savior KB  is  in  the extended- mini group?   :)  It was surely a mini many several years ago i guess.

I think SSKs and other TKL boards are considered "compact," while 65% and less designs are in the "mini" category. Where do we put 75%?

Is there a point to classifying TKL as anything other than TKL?
