If part of you dies, you're putting too much value on things.  They're cool and yeah, it is sad to see the same people getting them in the sales over and over, especially when they just flip them, but it's not the end of the world if you don't get them.  There are a ton of other cool things you could grab or play around with.

It's pretty much the end of the world if you don't get any clacks.

I fell into alcoholism and heroin the first time I didn't get a Clack in a sale.  The second time, I took up cutting.  The third time, I attempted suicide.  Trying to get into Clack sales is a dangerous road.

So I might be dead by Monday......

I wonder how many people that get in actually click a send button... couldn't you just program something to run at the exact time?

How do you even do this when there's no email address already specified beforehand and you don't know what you should write in the mail?

I think the last 2 or 3 sales i've participated in had the same email, could be wrong though. Doesn't matter anyway, could you not just modify your code between when the email is posted and the sale happens?

I know its a lot less traffic but; Binge for example has this thing called a 'web store' where items are posted and you pay there. Sounds crazy right?

For bingecaps and gasmasks, you actually have a decent chance at getting stuff. I know for sure the good gasmasks sell out usually in 10-15 minutes which is plenty of time compared to 3 seconds for ccs and bro bots.

I figured out how to not get bummed out like any other clack sale! I just won't enter because I already know for some reason he doesn't pick me anyway. So I will just dream that I get a dibs one day.

It's so hard to watch Clack sales pass by when you don't have any money.

First rule of dibs is you don't talk about dibs :p
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
