It's their own fault that I'm bugging them about this so much. The Realforce they sold me is awesome and their service is great, no wonder I won't go away ^^

lol. If this US layout all-45g becomes a reality, I was very lucky that I didn't get to purchase the 91UBY.

Can I have that with orange keys please?

I agree. While I really like my black Topre, the spacebar is already showing signs of shinyness, after only one month of use.

@Bruce: Will the new tenkeyless also be available in white?

Topre White Tenkeyless. Is that black print, or is there a white on white?
Sounds nice but I can only ask. I am thinking black on black to be honest and I will have to get them all the same I think.
Are we talking ANSI or ISO now?
Has such a beast been known from Topre before? That always makes a difference.

Black on blacks are hard to see in the dark and they are tend to get shiny faster. Also white keyboard is more aesthetically pleasing.
All 45g is better for gaming and ISO layout with the shorter left shift doesn't make any sense. I also think uniform 45g ANSI would definitely get more interest over US geekhackers.
Are the new models have the integrated virtual numpad?

Nice, although by now I'm used to the weighted keys.

Edit: Will the price be the same as for the 86U? And will these new ones have the LEDs integrated into the keys (like the87u) or separate like on the 86U?

I think I am going to go with Black on Black. It seemed likely to have the widest appeal.

What's the virtual number pad? Is that embedded in the qwerty section on a function key press? Not sure about that, it hasn't been mentioned.

Too bad I think the black on white Realforce is a better option.
It won't get shiny like the black one and the lettering is visible in the dark.
However a poll on this would be interesting.

I find that the integrated numpad that I have on my Noppoo and Ducky is absolutely useless to me. Because the keys aren't aligned like they are on a normal numpad, it's much harder to use them. I'll just stick with learning to touch type the number row.

Bruce - If you can get a custom order with RF, can you try and get a more consistent look for the modifiers?  something about the font sizing and/or alignment makes it look off to my eye.

For instance...
-the "Tab" and "Caps Lock" use a larger font than "Shift", "Ctrl", and "Alt"
-the "Home" key is printed even smaller than the word "Home" on the 7 numpad key
-My "Page Down" looks slightly bolded compared to "Page Up"

maybe it's just me, anyone else see this?

Having tried both all 55g and variable Realforces, I can say that I think an all 45g board would be a great idea, regardless of color schemes.

55g feels nice and firm but it gets a bit tiring after typing for duration, I find the variable pretty nice but the light keys such as A are just a tad too light.

I have a 45g topre and I think the sex that is topre is lost on the lighter switch.

So do you prefer the 55g Topre to a 45g Topre? I think the 55g feels a bit too stiff for my taste and the 45g just perfect. The lighter keys do indeed feel a bit too light and lack the proper tactile feedback.

For me it all depends on what I'm doing, gaming and typing in long sections I prefer the variable, but gaming and coding I use the all55g

I love my variable for typing but I can definitely notice a difference between the force in s and d which might affect my gaming a bit. Also the force required for qaz seems to bit even lower and I use those keys for gaming as well.

At this point I don't like the the 45g domes, and I do not intersted in them any longer. They have to much tactility to my taste.
My favourite domes in my 105U are the lightest 35g domes. Those are awesome.
I hope Keyboard Co will sell an all 35g tenkeyless Realforce in the future.
