Hoggy I don't know how big the Isle of Man is, but so you happen to know the "Walsh" family? Mr & Mrs Walsh and their son?

Just wondering :)

Hi Tym,  no sorry.  Being the Isle of Man, I probably know someone who does...

The population is around 80,000.

>I travel alot and the one thing I'm growing to hate is how negative we are (and I am from time to time). British people complain so ****ing much lol, everytime I come back to the UK it drives me mad, especially people complaining about the weather... It's pretty good tbf, yeah it rains and sometimes snows, but for the most part it's cold in the winter and warm in the summer :P

I used to watch all of them with my Dad as a kid. That and The Young Ones.

My Mum still laughs at the fact when I used answer every telephone call with "Hello, 4444, 444" as a young kid. :D

I am in the UK. Formerly Cambridgeshire, now the north coast of Scotland for the last 6 years. Moved here mainly for the air, the scenery and so I could pay a £10-20 excess on heavy parcels, as well as survive on 0.5mb internet. It's still worth it.

Try MyHermes - not the fastest courier (possibly the slowest), but hard to beat on price.  My colleague sent a 15kg from the Isle of Man to the UK for about £12.  Took a week though, so I wouldn't recommend getting a large box and punching air holes...

Aye, I have used MyHermes when its an option, very good service. Even normal post can take a few days extra anyway. Many people don't or won't use MyHermes though, and still plenty of places that just refuse to deliver here at all. It's still worth it.

The weather seems pretty good to me, it's just random. If it's bad weather your after check out someone where like Russia...
and once you are in russia, start "checking out" here:

35951-0

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.
