Paid a little less when I bought mine with browns. I will see what issues arise when using it.

The nkro issue has something to do with that damn ELAN chip I bet! Prolly the same reason choc mini's are flaky on macs. Hey doober, be sure to open it up to see if it has the same cut out defect as the blacks.

are POM keycaps considered cheap? or is it a good?  what material does a Filco/Ducky use?

i'm lookin at the keycap wiki and all i see is that the POM is expensive and not common.. but would like opinions on the feel of these.. thinkin bout getting one of these in white, but not if the keys feel cheap

Since some reports stated(previous page) that 6kro and even nkro are malfunctioning on this board, I would stay away and look for something else if you plan on doing heavy gaming.

I was planning on using this board at work anyways so it ain't problem that the kro is not working as advertised. Still a sweet looking board!

Yup , and kidchunks I love mine!!!!

also, the white version isn't POM it is ABS supposedly

also I do heavy gaming lol i have played SC not SC2 since i was in 4th grade, and never had NKRO. I also play CS, CSS, TF2, and WoW.

lack of or malfunctioning NKRO is disappoint, but maybe some true Geekhacker can figure out a fix :)

edit: i ordered this kb chunks for that very reason to be the first to have it

ah yea good lookin out...i was thinking about how many keys do i really ever press at one time and at most it would be 3... i would think these boards would at least have 3kro?? kinda sucks because it seems every one of these boards is a "surprise"..u never kno what youre gonna get lol

but the price is so cheap that im really really thinking of taking the risk. that and also i cant find a good white colored blue switch board anywhere except made by ducky...unless someone can help me find one -.-;

Although technically possible to get something between 2KRO and 6KRO I've never seen it.  I've only seen sloppy testers who give up too quickly.

Plus they must not teach Mininum and Maximum in Grade School in cities where OCN'rs live.

ah damn i didn't know that.....

hMMMmmmmm

that really sucks.. i only use 2 keys at most but if there's a FPS i want to play i might need 3......

damn the ****ty manufacturing.. guess that explains the price

ripster is Right, but with this board it is only a few combos that fail.

For instance you cannot hold down more keys if both Shifts are held down. I play CSS and COD, and I used to manage just fine on my IBM model M.

also my PLU 87 passes a lot of the common fps combos, WASD cluster and ctrl, shift, 1-6. c, v, x, z.

i just have never noticed myself in a video game using more than 2-3 buttons at a time.

and with WoW it is usually some form of WASD and Shift and 1-6 it passes that too

if you want what is so far my favorite keyboard and White with cherry browns, then I would go for it.

also something neat, is that they replaced the right windows key with a key that disables the left windows key. it has this neat underglow effect when on.

I believe i am the only one on here currently with this keyboard, and yes I will test that for you.

this is how it goes

Success

Left + Up | Right + Up + Down | Left + Down + Right

Failure

All Four  | Right + Up + Left

is that all i was getting confused lol

Would you mind shooting a link to this info or elaborating on how to spot the difference? I live in the US so I doubt I'd get any NKRO goodness any time soon, but there are a couple of ebay vendors that carry them. I'd like to ask them about NKRO but I don't know what to ask that would give me a guarantee.

Mine is from april 2011 (as the little blue sticker says).
Does anyone how to open it? I can't see any screws at the bottom. Is there a screw below the small round ML sticker? (If not, i don't want to destroy that cute little sticker .)
Beginners question: now that i have tenkeyless, how do i type alt+219? (Without buying a numpad.)
The shift + scroll-lock maybe only works on those IBM's?

I think a one eyed prostitute would not get much clients and thus go out of business and thus a special symbol would not be needed.

Hmm... Charmap... But it takes ages to find the wanted symbols there... I guess i should have bought a more expensive keyboard with a num-key... (But this one was already almost €70 after shipping and obooking.) They could've used that useless disable_winkey on this keyboard for that.

Btw, the LED's are too bright.

Using a sharpie on the LED's of my most expensive keyboard ever... No way! :)  (No i didn't buy a Happy Hacking one yet... :P.)
Haven't found out how to open the KB anyway... Well i think i have to remove the small manufacturing date sticker.

I think i'll just put some ugly white sticker over it.
A slight factory mod (it almosts fits now) of the keyboard in the future would enable putting a LEGO stud in it (and thus a colored see through LEGO would fit on it).

First I thought there was a bug with the " and the ' keys, but now I see it happens with another keyboard too. So you can forget about that.

Hate the logo, and I'm not a big fan of the case.

I've got the white keyboard, and the logo is white (both white and black seem to exist), with kinda holographic characters. It isn't 'loud' or very notable. But of course, if you're a minimalist then it could be bothering.

At the bottem it says: G1196999 and SN: 11040483. Anyone know what the G number is?

Quick question guys, I'm thinking about buying this keyboard off of qtwan and was wondering is this board is "Gmaing optimized" 2KRO or just straight 2KRO.

As I hardly play any games, I don't know. Although I think ripster already said something about it, but don't exactly remember what.
If you'll tell me how to test it (without installing games), I might be able to do that for you.

Does anybody know if the white PLU's have POM keys? Just got one from weipm, and I can't tell. He says their ABS, but they feel much, much different than any of my Filco keycaps.

Would that be the PLUM keyboard? It does say POM keycaps, but the box mine came in doesn't look like the box shown in the source link.

Just got my keyboard today so I can tell you that if you press WASD together, there are no problems if that is your question.

I believe the white PLU's come with ABS keycaps and the black PLU's come with POM keycaps.
