Did anyone from here get their hands on the odd sized keycap bag? I haven't seen someone claim it yet. Seems like if they did there will be a ton of demand for whatever they got.

So far from what's been posted I think only one dude got it, but there's going to be a lot of terminal keys in there I'm pretty sure, and not a lot of whatever everyone is thinking of

I don't see why not. Signature Plastics is a big company who can't afford the time to manage microtransactions. You are essentially doing this for them. This is no different than companies who buy stock directly out of Korea and resell it in other countries with a little markup.

I wonder how much of it will be rejects / mistakes, some of which could be quite funny. I'd like to see some with sideways or upside down legends and putrid color combos.

The 8 years+ Melissa's been there and they never had a sale like this before. Also considering that this isn't making them money they are simply just getting rid of their useless keys and I'm sure it took a bit of time for them too, so I'm not quite sure when we'll see a sale like this again, that is if they decide to run something like this again.

I'd think if someone jumped on and received all possible options for the grab bags there would be a pretty darn good chance of getting a full 104 set .. of different colors.

edit: assuming each of the 104 keys has the same probability of being selected and the bags were created at random.

I think we have a pretty good chance of getting an alpha numeric set, but I think the modifiers will be the ones we wont be able to get since like only one person that we know of got the special size bag.

I thought about that, but there is always waste in processes like this. Perhaps they used to just recycle/trash their one-offs.

I dunno. Didn't fentek have a 55 gallon trashcan full a while ago? I thought they donated it to a school to use in art projects.

I should have gotten on the list earlier!

Also: to the math people: Monkey's don't type randomly, so if they have colemak or dvorak (gotta get that alternation!) they have a much better chance of typing all shakespeare.

Looks like they were printed, not doubleshot for the most part, though.

I got my bag finally, not sure how close to a full set I got, but it didn't seem like I got too much of anything. I also snagged an "Av Slutt" key and a "CANCEL Active Order" key among a few others lol.

Will figure out what exactly when I finish getting all the Nyans out.
