Very stylish

Thanks. The ear-pads are not super stylish, but the most comfortable I have for them at the moment. Have a couple of other pairs, which are both black, which look better, but are way less comfortable. Need to experiment a bit more with that.

So, I found my second model M today. It's much older than the first one which had PS2 and a plastic logo :

Wikipedia tells me it's a 1390132, because of the AT & right silver label, But I have to say, it has mods I haven't seen before ("Zneg" "Zenter", and a third enter key in place of the right control ???  )
Anyway it's a bit yellowish and dirty, and I don't know yet if it works (my DIN adapter is at work), but it's a great find nonetheless.
I still prefer my near-mint 1391402 tho.  :))

edit : yeah and it also have some blanks on the numpad, and 3 symbols don't matches with the classic FR ISO layout I'm used to...

From Turbulent Labs, although had to go through a paypal dispute to actually get them to send it. They did not answer my messages :-/ Hopefully if you decide to buy it there, you will have a better experience. http://turbulentlabs.com/leather-manta-headbands/

That does look nice and it is very cheap. In case you don't want to wait for shipping, you can test led's with your millimeter. This is what I am doing for now.

Got a box fresh serial numpad today.

Sealed since 1991/1992, looks good. Guessing Tai Hao supplied the double shot caps.

Initially thought it would have MX Blacks installed, but after depressing some of the keys I could not quite figure out what switches they were.
Kind of feels like MX Blues but with firmer tactile response and a softer click, broke out my trusty keypuller and pulled away to reveal what I think
might be complicated white alps. Please chime in if I am wrong in my assessment. This is my first encounter with Alps and I found that I quite like the switches.

Switches are plate mounted and uses costar like stabs.

Now begins the work to make this work with a modern computer without a serial input.
All in all I'm quite satisfied as it only cost me about 20$ shipped to Norway.

Got some sacrificial caps from Ivan today. Not really worth taking pics of, but I will post pics of what they become. :p

Are you going to start making caps? Or are you about to Frankenstein them?  :)

I'm gonna try my hand at making caps soon, but that isn't what these are for. I'm going to cannibalize them and make a full set of Lego Keycaps for my Poker II. It already has a Lego case, so I felt why not add more Lego. ;D

Sorry for the bad pic, but it was a nice day - 4 Blue Clacks, and Mass Drop led covers for cherry switches.

One can never have too many Salutes!  And I like those purple ones up in the top. :)

I couldn't agree more!
