I want one badly! Can any Korean speakers say whether it's in stock on Leopold's site? I wonder if EK will get this -- they probably will -- explains why they haven't restocked the pad printed version.

EDIT: I believe it's out of stock on Leopold.co.kr. I emailed EK and asked whether they'll be carrying it. EDIT 2: They replied yes

The Leo FC660C is a good keyboard for somebody who wants a 60%, and who wants the more traditional layout, instead of getting the HHKB.  In the end, it really comes down to where you want to find the ~, backspace and the arrow keys.

Also the price is great for the Leo FC660C at < $190 (USD).

Hot stuff

wonder if they are going to sell the keycaps separately .

Probably not since they don't sell existing keycaps separately.

It's pretty much saying that the actual look may be different from what you see in the picture/monitor/screen. Things are up to change as the keycaps in the picture are demo units.

The price converts to $210.  So it is a bit pricier than the original version.  But nicer keycaps.

Also, I have that color scheme with the Leopold numpad, and it is a slick-looking color scheme.
Wish I had some gif or quote for this space, but I got nothing

Damn, nice addition to the line. I still prefer my blank variant, but it's good to see they're doing more variations of the topre board. Here's hoping we see a white one in the near future.

Yes, these became available last week.

No date yet, I just got an order confirmation yesterday. I'll have a date next week. Preorders will probably not happen since I won't have a sample of this unit beforehand. I'm going out on a limb ordering them without seeing one as it is. A newsletter will go out though.

+1

I would have grabbed a white one in an instant if they were available.

Instead I ended up with HHKB.  I am not sorry :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Yeah... A white one or white/grey one was what I was waiting for ever since they announced the 660C... I'm kind of glad I picked one up when it came out though because otherwise I would still be waiting. I don't understand why they don't do it though because it'd sell just as well, if not better, than the black one model.

They are probably waiting for demand to fall off for the black one before introducing a new variation.

Between my TypeHeaven and the 660C I don't see ever buying a Realforce brand board again.  Regardless of being built in China they feel much more fun to type on [IMHO.]

I agree with you that it's more fun to type on, and I can confidently say that I think that the 660C feels much better than the Realforce 45g. It is much more responsive and poppy. However, Realforce has the 55g, which is the best feeling Thorpe of them all :P

It would be nice to see them sell the caps separately, considering how much of a pain it is to replace any topre caps, much less ones on a board with a non-standard bottom row.  they'd certainly sell.  but of course that would be too easy.

I also would buy those caps if they where sold on their own. With the shortage on thick pbt dye sub alternatives for the 660s, it would make good business sense. That is a great board.

If they came out with a blank white one.. I'd have a very very hard time not buying it... But this current model is nice but not for me. I think that look will get old.
