I don't really post much here on geekhack but I thought I'd share mine.

That CHERRY goodness <3

Don't mind the spacebar. I know it's awful! I'm looking for a Cherry profile one.

My poker 2 - in a poker 1 accryllic case, which made it quite hard to get the poker 2 into it, as the poker 1 has pcb stabs and the poker 2 is plate, so It actually has 2 plates in it, the stock poker2 one and an accrylic one.

I got boards.

Inspired by Medow and Margo's posts, I decided to post a pic of what I've been driving for about a week.

I simply swapped boards in my Hammer case (Titanium Anodized). Instead of my usual MX-Black Build, I put in my MX-White Build Poker X.

I haven't been typing on the MX-White build that much because I didn't like the feel. In fact, I was starting to think that I simply don't like clicky switches anymore. Thinking it might be the case the MX-White was in, I decided to swap them and test the theory.

Turns out that I'm simply not a fan of the MKC Aluminum case. It's just too resonate and there's a ton of added ping when typing, regardless of the switch. Bear in mind that I bottom out when I type. I'll have to find something to fill the bottom of the case to deaden the sound other than the white foam I have in there.

I will be the first to admit, I really do not like the mix of printed alphas and blank mods (and vice versa) but that Mr. Mashby is one fine looking board sir.

Thank you sir! Truth be told, I feel exactly the same way about blanks and alphas, but it just kind of worked with this set so I stuck with it.

I don't believe so, or at least I've never seen them. You can check in his vendor forum though just to be sure.

Whenever I use that set, I make the `¬ cap a light one rather than a dark one, as then it makes it look almost intenational and almost balances it a bit. Infact, my favourite thing to do is use teh light grey ones with a set of light blue blanks I have and make a set that is sort of like the blue/grey space cadet sort of theme.
I got boards.

Mashby - I've got Con-Tact adhesive natural cork lining the bottom of my MKC Alu case and I'm much happier with the way it sounds/feels now vs stock. There was just enough room inside to comfortably put down two layers (I can post photos later when I've got the board in front of me.)

You can also buy some self-adhesive cork from Michael's for $0.99 or less that has enough area for two 60% cases.

Having some fun with Cherry doubleshots while I wait for Penumbra. Anyone have a Cherry-profile Moogle kit for sale or know where I can buy one?

Much obliged! Now to debate if it's worth $52 to complete this set

Signature Plastics Crap/Grab bag turned out to be useful! I found a special flipped Alt key (sitting in the FN spot), a flipped Win key for symmetry, and a caps lock to go with the Cherry Doubleshots:

Now I just gotta rectify that spacebar...

This turned out really great looking and the new layout is very intriguing... will definitely be reading up on it!

I think the cost is steeped for what you may get.

I added a set of IMSTO Thick PBT Dark Grey Blanks as modifiers to my MX-White Poker.

MX-White Poker X As Of 2014-05-08 by cpkey, on Flickr

Since getting the original IMSTO Blanks, I’ve never been thrilled with the modifiers and always wanted to get a set of grey blanks. I came across one one eBay and snatched it up.

Why didn’t I like the original IMSTO blanks? Well, the modifers were more tan, than grey for starters. The other problem was that the caps lock was in the wrong color and didn’t match. The miss matched color issue didn’t bother me much because I like the “\” key to match the modifers.

Overall, I’m liking the change, but I wish the grey was a little bit lighter, but I still think this is a change for the better. Ultimately, I think I'll go back to the original white blanks for the alphas and force myself to get used to typing on blanks for the numeric row.

I’m prone to tweak this keyboard some more, here’s the rundown on what it is today.
  • Poker X PCB from iMav’s DIY GB
  • Cherry MX-White Switches
  • White Switch Stickers
  • Costar Stabilizers (plate mounted)
  • The_Beast Poker Suit Stainless Steel Plate
  • MKC Aluminum 60% Case in Claret Red
  • IMSTO Thick PBT Cyrillic Key Caps
  • IMSTO Thick PBT Dark Grey Blank Key Caps
  • 40-A O-Rings on Esc, Backspace and Spacebar
