After more careful reading, it appears that the diode won't prohibit mounting the Poker PCB in the Pure case. The wiki shows how to use the standoff to mount the Poker PCB more securely. My mistake, sorry.
So the centre standoff definitely won't foul that diode? If not then I'm definitely in for one. :D

I just did a test fit of one of my Poker PCBs in my Pure's plastic case that has the center standoff. The D51 diode may be sitting on the standoff, I can't tell for sure. But since there is nothing torquing the PCB down to the standoff in the center of the case, and because the PCB naturally has a bit of flex in the center, I don't think it's a problem, even if the diode is sitting on the standoff.

The center standoff is fine. The diode 51 sits ever so slightly higher than that standoff. There is a very small chance the solder joint might touch the standoff, depending on how much solder. To be safe, just put a piece of tape on that diode.

The Pure aluminum case has a much lower profile than the stock KBC Poker case, but the keyboard appears to be at the same height and angle. Below are a couple of photos comparing the two.

its a TIGHT fit, at least for me but i got it in there and it works fine. looks great

few things
1. i had to take off my wasd mod because the wires were too thick and the poker wouldnt fit in the case. it really wasnt too successful though, the LED seem to go dimmer and didnt serve any use
2. it was a very tight fit
3. youll notice on the picture where the usb plug is that the board is just slightly (in mm) bumped up compared to the other picture of the backspace
overall i like it
that actually sounds like a good plan, need the right kind of LED this time though too, i grabbed some leds off the quickfires i harvested and they are very dim.
again, i love this case, so worth it

Vortex plate is 0.060", Beast's plate is standard 16 gauge, so 0.0625". The difference is negligible when looking at it, but this actually matters for Costar stabilizers. For switch mounting or anything else, this difference doesn't matter.

i threw it away, it wasn't a box, just a padded postpack mailer. could be shoved into a mail box but not sure if someone would actually do that.i wish the post man would just shove it in since no one's at home to receive the stuff. :D
@hoshidishi - Packaging wasn't the best, it was just wrapped one thin layer of foam paper, and shipped inside bubble packaging. But this allowed it to also be shoved in my mailbox.

Just quite weird that is taking some time to reach singapore from china.
Poker screws are M2 x 4mm. I found that out by trial and error after ordering some #2-56 x 5/32 screws.
Similar experience had here. Once I got the usb port to slip into it's cutout things were fine, though. It's a good look, silver stainless plate and brushed aluminum case. Too bad I don't have good caps to go with it yet.
