I'll try to figure out how to do it for less than $90 :P

Does anyone have interest in "soft-touch" key caps?
Like a special coating to make them feel soft and slightly rubbery.
The coating I'm using now makes them feel similar to ABS.

Seems that the lowest I can ship them to Europe for is around $30, so I'm making this for continental US only, sorry.

Shipping to europe under 40 oz. is no greater than $20.  Packages I send to europe cost $7.50.  Your decision to keep it CONUS spared europe, so I guess this is a good thing.

Spared Europe from what?  Are you being snarky or am I just misunderstanding you?  Also what shipping method do you use?  If I can get those rates I will ship to Europe too.

They are DCS profile "Lily set", and the modifiers are Cherry profile made by GMK.  Actually, I may do a full Cherry set.  Thanks for your compliment (everyone else too!) :)

The Galaxy set has a black looking coat that changes different colors, especially in natural light, and is usually either blue or purpleish, but can be any color if the light hits it right.

Polyurethanes and acrylics.  Both spray-on and paint-on.

You should be able to ship 4oz  or less for less than $10 to UK using USPS first class.

I've been able to ship 3 caps to South Africa for 3 bucks.....kind of scary though. Have to keep the package really thin. Just put FRAGILE all over the package and they might get the hint.

Very nice work BTW....really like that spacebar you painted in another thread.

Thanks, but the spacebar is actually a dyesub.  I just looked again at UPS, USPS, and FedEx and can't find anything cheaper than $11.70, and that's for a thin envelope without tracking, which I'd never use.

Yeah, if you can get them to mark it as a letter rather than a parcel it's incredibly cheap to ship international. Last time I went to the post office I shipped two identical bubble mailers, each with one keycap in it, and somehow one got marked as a parcel and one got marked as a letter. It ended up being cheaper to send a keycap to South Korea than to California  :))

My post office is incredibly inconsistent, but it's definitely possible to ship a few keycaps international for cheap if you can package it just right.

Introducing the PointyCap 2.0!

Much sharpness.  Such point.  Wow!

Considering how plain black caps with just a few dabs or red paint are selling on here for $600, this cap can be had for the low, low price of $800 SOLD!

Wow those are pretty. I am interested but how do they do when you use them a lot? Do they wear easily and how do they feel, glossy?

I put a clear coat over them to make them more durable.  I have used them for several months and have not noticed any wear.  If yours do wear quickly, send me pictures and I'll do something about it :P

I put another coating over the clear coat to make them feel less glossy/sticky.  With this coating, they feel similar to semi-smooth ABS plastic key caps.
