the problem is that some orders have been taken manually by Ron (not through my system) and we have to merge the databases. I'd rather wait few days than publish incorrect data.

Ok, evil plots aside, here is the plan...

Now - consolidating and reconciling data from Matt3o, late orders, PayPal, and misc. e-mails and PM requests.

Soon - send e-mail copy of order and shipping address to each group member.

May 1st or so - receive bulk shipment from SP.

May 4th - sorting and packing starts.

May 6th - packages start being mailed.

As soon as possible after that - DONE.

Of course, no plan survives intact once battle starts, so actual results will be what they actually are.

FYI,

i know i am an idiot and late to this but is it too late to get on this group buy?  these arent the retro sphericals i exactly want but i am coming to the realization that i am never going to get what i want and these are the closest i have seen to my vision outside of Round 4 which was before my time.

also if anyone backs out i would be more than happy to scoop up their set.

I think what I will do when the main sorting is complete, is to take the leftover kits and create some standard boxed sets.  Then I can offer them for quick and easy purchase to late-comers with a one-click buying process like RainDrop used.  Actual contents will depend on what actual spares are left, but would be something like:

 - Alphas
 - Mods
 - Extras
 - Spare Spacebar

I think I would rather do that than have another round of multiple-choice.

Anyhow, that will happen after main sorting, packing and shipping.

So there will be leftovers, or is only if there turns out to be some?

I'm in the same boat, I love Retro look and even have some of these profile keys SP sent me.

I'd be interested in a Kit 1 + Kit 3, potentially + ISO kit and + Commodore kit.

Also, just wondering, which Commodore keyboard did you guys throwback to?

You have that many spares?

I had to do some rounding to make tiers, and we did buy some extras beyond the number of paid orders.  Not many, but mostly I want to avoid selling a menu of items.

Also, the PM flood never really stopped.  I am still getting 'am I too late to buy a set?' messages.  And I don't want to be selling just a mod kit to people who missed the window for ordering whatever combo they wanted.

Anyhow, it is just a thought.  We'll see what is left after the fulfillment party is done.

Also, SP will end up tossing extra stuff in to get shipping weights correct.  And there may be production extras as well.

Would love to, but me and customs have this love/hate relationship.  They love to catch me bringing stuff back into Oz hence I hate them for this  >:D .  I just wish there were no CUSTOMS anywhere in the world today.

Then I would travel at least every fortnight over to Europe, Asia and the Americas (especially Colombia, Bolivia and Brazil)  8) .

If you get SP to do a full set in DS-PBT, you shall be revered even more.  I was told point-blank from Melissa that they weren't ready to start offering that at this time.

Oh Please do not let us stop you in developing any type of design.  If it's PBT put me down for some.  Besides, you have set the bench mark for a Brilliant Group Buy here on geekhack.

I am now down on my knees and praising you for the forth coming PBT set from SP  ^-^ , which I know will be truly special.

White, grey, maybe beige?

for a true retro look, beige would be the best. White creates a nice, modern contrast, but it should be also good with black. I'm going to take some pictures next week as soon as I get them.

Hot damn.  So we'll finally see this masterpiece up close.  Please take some close up shots of the Modifiers, Caps and Spacer keys  ;) .

I'm surprised at how quick SP is in making them these days.  Before you could scratch your arse they've already finished the whole lot  :)) .
