Massdrop - Grifiti Wrist Pads
« on: Fri, 18 April 2014, 14:31:21 »
Just got this in my email. I read these wrist pads are decent but for $10, I can't really complain. Only 12inch or 14inch.

Also, the CM Storm Quick Fire Stealth is on the group buy too.

I am using mine right now. I strongly suggest to go for the 14 inch; the 12 looks cute with smaller boards but your wrists will be hanging off the edges and you won't like it.

Are these wrist pads more ergonomic or beneficial compared to no wrist pads?

I think most people agree that straight wrists are better than bent wrists. These help you keep your wrists straight. They definitely reduce strain for me.

How is this sad? those are very reasonable shipping rates for international.

I'd be interested if wrist rests were more useful for standing.

They're comfortable when they're not falling apart and they customer service is unbelievably good, so I may just have to grab another.

Nah, it's just me grieving over how I can't get small accessories from anywhere that's not Canada without adding stuff on, or I have to order multiples :P

I wish they were available in a different color.  I tried to find older versions in 14" lengths some time ago, as they were offered in various colors, but they seem to be impossible to find now.

I saw amazon had them when I purchased mine a month ago

Is it worth getting this OR should I just jump to something higher quality (whatever that might be)?
Never used wrist rests before.

I say grab it and try it. If you don't like it, you don't really lose much.

Got my boss to buy this very brand of pad. Height is good, except I find the depth to be a bit too deep -- I keep mistyping my spaces, and alt-letter combos.

But it's cushiony, and a dense cushion at that so I can safely say I'm impressed.

Same thing, but that's the slim version. The other one was the fat version, which I actually just got today in the mail. It feels great!

You place it adjacent to your bottom side of the keyboard. Perhaps you're just not used to using one yet? Worst case scenario you just don't use it at all, I mean it's really just something to make your wrists comfortable.
