These are as nice as they are expensive. I filled the form in the hopes that it stays a 15 key set.I hope so, too. This is one of the best non-PBT keycap sets I've seen.

Yes, but if we look at it your way, only 100 people order but 60 people are tempted to order if it hits 150 sets but it would never hit it because of the 60 people that didn't sign up. If you have a realistic tier amount then it's fine, if we don't hit it I really doubt that many would cancel.
You have a chance to cancel near the end of the GB so then the GB organizer can re-evaluate the situation to see what to do next, I mean if your expectation is 500 sets then I'm pretty sure we won't hit it.
In all situtations its better to order first then back out later, you can even tell your GB organizer that if it doesn't reach X amount I might back out that way everyone knows, its a lot easier to do that then go if we hit X amount so and so will go in and if we hit Y amount these other people will join

It most certainly will. I am tracking each key individually so the price will be determined by how many of each key is ordered either in a set or individually. That is why I put the disclaimer of "Worst Case Scenario" on the set prices.
Once we hit 50 for each I will post the current set prices. 8-ball is 2 short of 50 right now!

If I'm right... the 9-ballers would pay the 100x price, and the 15-ballers would pay that plus the 50x price pro-rata for the extra 6 balls. Roughly. And that's not counting any other reduction from single-ball purchases.

My method gets the best count as to who's in and if a change needs to be made it would just be one change to remove. While you might not think much of it, having hundreds of of members making multiple changes gets quite annoying.
well which is it then? make more work for the organizer or not? the only way i wont make more work for him is to not have my ideal order at this point because i've already ordered a 9-ball set. the whole idea in this was that i wouldnt be making more work for boilermaker from the start and i've got people telling me on one 1 hand i should bite the bullet and make more work for him and then on the other telling me i shouldntMy example was to always order the amount you desire and not if it X tier then order, and instead of order then changing it when we are 1 tier before your goal tier and then changing again if we don't hit it.

Most numpads on keyboards have the "curved" profile, but since I prefer a flat profile to my tenkey, I imagine I may have a use for more than one set.
It all depends on your prefrence. I think having a "flat" profile tenkey is a great idea. My olivetti (RD) has that, and it's a great profile.

When the 1-15 sets hit 50 orders, everyone could change their single set order to five sets for only $17.56 more. If that's more sets than you need you could probably sell the extras for more than the $13.76 you would have paid. That's only $0.86 a key. I'm just thinking out loud to pass the time between F5 presses. ;-)

I put a lot of thought into doing these as a tenkey since IMO it would look cool, but the tenkey demand is lower and the 1-9 keys as well as the F keys fit the set so perfectly.

My understanding is that it won't go all the way to the corner but very close. If you look at the triforce key you can see they can get very close to the edge.
The side of the keys will be the ball color anyway so I'm not concerned if there is a small amount over / under the stripe.
I'm good to double if need be. Also, if lots of people double, I will consider triple, depending on price.
