That first one is mine!  I just got it in the mail over the weekend.  Here it is on my desk:

I love the detail in the carving!

It's even better in person (sorry, just using a phone camera).

The construction is top notch.  Solid stitching, nice and heavy, a good rigid plate in the back of it.  I've already received a dozen compliments at work.

Beautiful work Tanya!

Thanks again,
Sean

Those are great pictures, way better than I was able to get with my cheap point and shoot.  I am very happy you like it!
Thanks for the kind words everyone.

I'm lusting for a black on black, myself.

One of the orders I am going to be working on soon is a black on black, actually, so you'll be able to check out some pictures of how it looks.

Speaking of pictures, I finished a really complex carving today that I'll show off once it's had some time to dry.

Not that I would be asking you to but I wonder what it would look like to dye some leather with actual blood.

I'm thinking of a 60 percent royal blue, turquoise stitching, black edges. I just don't know what I'd like for a graphic.

I just gave it a test on a PC and a Mac and it seems to be good.
It may be that your work proxy doesn't like the embedded javascript form.

The direct link might work better: https://nokos.wufoo.com/forms/custom-order-form/

Thanks for the heads up--I should put the direct link in my post if others have this issue.

Just wanna say I love my palm rest, I cannot type without it now. Sometimes when I'm browsing the web I move it over to the mouse.

I did take some pictures of it a while back, I might have lost them forever though.

Would you be willing to buff some leather with no color or anything else?  Just a sample for image sake?  Thinking of a rest with the raw unfinished leather would be cool.  Maybe some tooling but no dye.

Not to sound too pushy, but since you've teased with the faux alligator leather, any possibility of getting a full-size wrist rest made in that material?   ;D

Sure, I haven't yet had a chance to do anything with that piece of leather really!  I want to catch up on some more experimental projects though, like using that leather, for sure.

Any particular colour combination you would like to see?  If there are a couple, I might try out some test swatches to see how the embossed leather takes dye actually.

A nice dark emerald green would be my first choice, or perhaps something in black?  Can you do two-tone dyes, with "scales" in dark green, and the creases in black?

I've been very impressed with all your work, so if you think of some options you'd like to try I'd trust your direction.

The green with black is very doable.  Next time the full size mould is not in use, I'll try it out as a prototype and see how it goes.  If it ends up working out to my standards, I will give you first dibs on the finished product :)

I am working on Binge's prototype first right now--I haven't been able to get started on that one yet past the basic steps, so now that I have it all planned out I am putting it into motion.  I have a bunch of pictures saved on my phone to post too, once I get to writing up everything.  It'll make a great build log post.

Do you think you could to a two tone logo like that?

New site is up and running and mostly bug-free   :thumb:
All comments and suggestions are welcome.

Hey jolonnar, do you think you could recreate the logo here: http://swillkb.com/

I can send you a higher rez image if that would help.

Do you think you could to a two tone logo like that?

Love your work.

Sure, I think I could match the colours.  Actually, I was thinking of putting in an order for Angelus paints sometime soon, which are supposed to be really good quality and nice to work with:  http://www.dharmatrading.com/paints/angelus-leather-paint.html?lnav=paints.html
The sketchy look I don't think I could duplicate and have it look good, but the overall font and appearance, certainly.

I do really appreciate high-res images since sometimes I need to manipulate source art in photoshop a bit to get it to form a good pattern for leatherworking.

Hey Noko, I messaged you via the contact link on the OP. I look forward to your response.

Also, why don't you have your own forum here yet? You should! :)

Sent you over a reply!

I'm not sure where I stand on the forum bit actually--I kind of like having this big long record of everything.  Main thing is I am happy to be able to have my spot on the Artisan forum :)

That reminds me, I did get new thread.  Not metallic though--hot pink and gray :)  I'll update my thread chart today.
Also, I guess my surprise is live, haha.   I am not one for teaser hype announcements I guess!

Massdrop asked me to do a 20-run of ErgoDox wrist rests to go with their current ErgoDox drop.  Check it out if you want to get in on this run!  They did an awesome job with photography, too.  I'm super excited.
