[IC] [GMK] Yellow/Purple Menu/Win/Fn keys

Since there many of the GHers who have CMYK or RGB sets, and almost all of them skip on the Menu/Win/Fn keys, I suggest having a Menu/Win key GB for colors that would go well with with the existing GMK/non-GMK RGB/CMY/other sets.

Note:
1. I would like to go with GMK, not SP, so here are the color choices:

3. Recommended colors, I suggest purple for CMY and purple scheme, and yellow for RGB

I really do not use the menu key. I have it remapped as an additional FN key for my own chords combinations. I may be interested in the win and fn. Interested in the WoP and suggest a white on dark grey (CC) combination. And for size 1.25u and 1u are all we ever need.

The color options are too many in my opinion, hence bring up lot of keys with a color that someone might not like it. Aside by a lot of keys, the price is also a concern i believe.
Besides, what window and menu logo u plan to use? I believe the preference vary by very much too. I do understand how hard it is to please everyone  .

Small correction: There was no intention of BoW, it was suppose to by BoY.

So essentially it is, black and white on yellow and purple.

This would go in-synergy with the existing black and white on CMY and RGB sets out there, creating a more consistent keyboard

I'm VERY interested in the white on purple keys but I think the set should include the Win, Menu, and Fn keys. Go big or if that's not possible then at least have the third key as an add-on option.

As I think most would put this with CMY[K/W] I would be in favour of dropping the WoY and BoY Win/Menu keys (too much yellow for me ) and adding 1.25u fn in the same colours as 1.00u fn keys. Which would drop the overall amount of keys by 8, possibly meaning this could hit around the $30 or less mark -judging by $35 for 22 keys including lots of shifts for CMYW. Just my thoughts

Edit: ...Or just include 1.25u blanks in purple and green. That would satisfy my fn needs.

Made some changes to the sets:
-- Separated the set into two, one matching the RGB, one matching the CMY sets. I won't segregate further into CMYK/CMYW/RGBY/RGBW as hitting MOQ might be hard in that case.
-- Removed 1.00u Fn white-on-green as there are no 1.75u white-on-green shifts to match (If there is please let me know, so I can add it back into the set)
-- CMY matching set has 2 1.00u Fn white-on-yellow keys to match one CMYW set which can populate two boards with 1.75 shift, unlike CMYK set, which can populate only one, and hence only one black-on-yellow 1.00u Fn is part of the set
-- Similarly two 1.00u black-on-green FN have been included in the RGB set to populate and match two RGB sets
-- Added information for existing sets

Note:
1. This is not a Round 2 for the existing sets in RGB or CMY, rather it is a complimentary set, to have all color mods for the two bottom rows.
2. The black-on-purple isn't intended to match any existing purple sets but two match the CMYK set, as white-on-purple would not go well with black-on-CMY.
3. I know Feng's new GB has yellow WIN keys, but is lacking MENU keys, and isn't a viable option for those already with RGB sets and looking to add only yellow WIN/MENU keys.

Please let me know what other colored 1.25u Fn keys would you like (As there seems to be strong interest), please mention the set it is supposed to match (CMY or RGB).

Again, I'll just say that instead of purple fn/menu in 1.25; why not purple win key + green (AE) fn key (1x WoP/BoP win + 1x WoG/BoG fn) to match the CMY sets--these can replace the purple fn/menu keys. And are menu keys still necessary? Shouldn't the 'fn key' just replace that, so we can save some space? As for the 1u keys, I have no clue

It does actually make sense to replace the purple menu keys with green ones and similarly, yellow menu with purple menu, as the menu and win key will be the only two different keys in same color, will look out of place. Good suggestion

It's a good idea. I think it would also be nice to pick some color with white/black legend for backspace, tab and caps lock so one could have all colorful mods along with cheap used sets to fill in along with what is missing at EK.

I think a full touch caps lock at the least would be a good idea. Most used set come with stepped and most are not able to use this. Maybe on V2?

Very good idea! A centerstemmed capslock key that matches CMY keys and also goes well with black/beige alphas would be awesome!

Personally, I think a capslock and an enter key would be enough for these add on sets. These two keys would go well with the symmetry the RGB/CMY mod sets provide. Even more colors on a single board might be overkill. Furthermore it would blow up the price even more.

I like the new sets separated for CMY and RGB. I think adding all of the modifiers would muddy it up too much, the amount of colours and choices you would have to cater for would start to increase the price and possibly put people off. That being said, I do think you could get away with caps + enter as Lechner says. As long as you add a 1.25 FN key!!

I think blanks are a good idea.  It lets you use the keys for other purposes, not just the bottom for for win/fn/menu.
