Thank you Zarlek for the gif, it made me laugh for a while

With HoTS coming out, I think a good amount of people are returning to SC2.  Just wondering if anyone out there would be interested in doing this again?  I got knocked out first round last time, but I've been palying a lot recently and hope to compete a little better this time around =)  But with all the **** that's going on right now (GMK, gb's, holidays, etc.), this likely won't happen until mid-late January at the earliest.

For starters, I'm willing to donate some of my own goodies as potential prizes for the winners.  I'm hoping vendors will chime in again to sweeten the deal!

I'd be interested - I forget my exact character codes at the moment but my accounts are Platinum Terran and Protoss. If we end up playing on NA and some people from EU want to play cross-server, I'm fine with them temporarily using my secondary account (I got it when they were selling SC2 for $10).

I haven't been able to play for a month because my laptop's video card has died... Decided to just build a new computer and the parts should be here in a couple days.

You dont need a lot of computer power to stream, you just need a good connection.

I'm down to play or cast/stream. I can do 720p streaming, (1080p if I get an xsplit upgrade). I'm only Silver league NA so I'd prefer to stream/cast then play but either way I'm in!

Just as a thought, maybe figure out a way to have a buy in and have proceeds go to geekhack?

Haha can't micro with latency! HOTS is only due to be out in march, if we had it before it would be awesome since I'm guessing the game will initially be quite unstable and unbalanced

I'm interested, but don't play very often. Hoping to start playing every day and make gold in the start of next season. I think my macro is decent and playing regularly can only help. Currently silver.

According to some of the stuff I've seen on TL, TT1 is a mouse/keyboard enthusiast. He's always got some really cool gear like Artisan mouse pads and that Realforce.

we save the replays and someone just commentates them and we post them to you tube ....
that also gives us a bit more flexibility on timings of matches

well my youngest ripped open my mouse at weekend, managed to get it back together so the buttons worked, but the sensor died in the process
went out and found a diablo 3 steelseries mouse.....but the damn thing actually crashes, not the drivers but the mouse....this is what happens when you put a cpu in your mice
so thats on rma

good job this isn't going to be very soon

I placed Gold this season, and some of the BSG tournaments I've played in people are telling me I should probably place Platinum once I get enough games under my belt. Playing/streaming on a regular basis is helping me considerably. So you can at least put Gold next to my name, and I'll get working on placing into Platinum :p

thats pretty good. top masters on eu is probably mid masters on kr/tw which is already good with so many korean pros having smurfs occupying multiple spots on gm

I'm flattered that you call me top masters, I still call me mid-masters. I think top masters is consistently within r1-8 on ladder.

I've never ever tried playing on KR actually. I live in Norway so I'm not sure what to expect ping-wise.

Yes I was planning to use challonge to do easy brackets. If you wanna do the sign up and get everyone together then I'll come spectate and set up matches and stuff. Just use GSL map pool please.

As for prizes maybe I can offer some stuff, and I'll talk to people to see if I can get us sponsored prizes. Keyboard related of course ^^

Don't care about prizes too. If it has prizes some high masters could quickly drop by just to collect the prizes. TT1 used to browse gh a bit, I remember when he bought a 87u here.

I months without playing (was diamond terran), I don't even have HotS but I'd consider buying one just to participate in this tournament.
