In my attempts to find a sleeve for my HHKB that wasn't the ridic EK case, I purchased this gun sleeve from Amazon and herein my impressions:
Pros: -Fits like glove. -Fits the stock USB HHKB cable. -Sock material protects against scuffs/scratches. -Minimal but present padding. -Stretch materials allows for more accessories if need be. -Does not compress keys. -Discreet package, so you don't look like a total nerd. -Low footprint for stowing away once keyboard is out of case. -Inexpensive and Prime eligible.
Cons: -Not a hardshell, no protection against 4ft+ falls. -Cannot comment on durability. -Put it through the washer once, because manufacture cloth pilling is present and can get in keys.
Overall very happy and this will be my primary means of carrying my HHKB via in hand -to class and in bag for longer journeys. Food for thought for others and a definite buy for some.

if you got a glock don't bare rock it put it in a suave gun sock, it's really sleek with sensuous gray lines but if you don't own a firearm, i find it'll fit a happy hacker, too, just fine

I did look into these, and found conflicting stories/pics of the bag compressing the keys, etc. I wanted to be especially careful as I did not want the membrane of the Topre to be damaged in a tight/compressed case. In addition, the price was a bit steep on such a gamble -knowing that fitment would vary due to the bags being hand/tailor made.
THAT THAR CEEBOARD SOCK WERKS

Wow, what a great Idea.
Cool that it worked out so well too. I'm sure a lot of people will want to get their hands on that too.
Plus, It takes away from EK's monopoly on topre stuff.
