They do a similarly nice scanner now, a mere $3200.

I don't believe there are true otaku Realforce keyboards...the black on gray is pretty close though. Of course, you could always partially replace the keys with otaku HHKB keys.

Edit: I've never seen a pink Realforce either :D

Hi Guys.

I'm hoping to have some news soon so I can post with accurate dates but things are well advanced and I'm optimistic we will have stock by the end of November or early December. We had a look at manual designs last week.

What I can say for sure is we ordered UK, German, Swedish/Finnish and French layouts.
I chose Topre Gold design.
That's a Black 105 Board, full size, with Gold lased lettering and Gold base plate.
I'm not sure how much of the base plate will be visible but I thought that was a nice touch. They will have the variable force switch array.

If there are any ANSI Tenkeyless models 'on the shelf' when our order is ready I will get some also but this is unsure right now.

These are due to arrive any day now.
I did also get some in a Beige Tenkeyless USA model. This one I think.
http://www.topre.co.jp/e/products/comp/product26.html
Also I have a small number of these coming in the next week or two.
http://www.diatec.co.jp/products/det.php?prod_c=617

Pricing in the next day or two.

Given that we are talking Topre Super Yum Yum it shouldn't be too far out - I hope.
I haven't seen the carriage bill yet though.

Thanks for the fast response.

Anyway I'm really interested in having a Topre Keyboard and I first thought about buying a HHKB 2 but a Tenkeyless Realforce was in my mind too, now with this  Black/Yellow Realforce I may change my decission and go  for a this one.

One problem it's that I don't really understand what is the objective of that Keys near the Space key and what function do they do on the keyboard. I'm afraid if the JP Layout will be a problem for writing in Spanish ( I'm from Spain so don't really know since I only have experience with Spanish Layout and the 7G).

I show you a photo ( It's not mine  but i have the same keyboard with the Red Esc and Purple WASD too), as you can notice it have the Ñ near the L and the Ç just near the Back Space( I only need it when I write in Catalan, yes the language that the people from Barcelona speak :P):

Do you think i will have too much trouble if i caonfigure correctly the Language on Windows?

I'm adapted to the small Back Space Key so it's nice it come with it.

Maybe a stupid question but what's Super Yum Yum, Bruce?

And good too see you're getting some UK and US layouts... The UK layout is what I grew up with and the US layout is what everybody in Poland is using (not the Polish 214 layout, we all use Polish Programmer's, which is the US layout with special chars being achieved with AltGr). I'm getting tempted.

Bruce I was going to ask about the Price today and WOW you just put them in Stock, that's actually fantastic.

I'm interested in the Super Yum Yum price since the white one won't match my all black peripherals but I was thinking about a HHKB 2 too....mmm that Black-Yellow seems a delicious choice.

May be a xtreme choice to get that colour combination but at the same time I'm tempted to get it.

I will have to think this night on it while sleeping.

I read that the Super Yum Yum it's all 45g weighted.

I supose that getting those keyboards to europe must not be so cheap for Bruce & Keyboard Company so it have to bee reflected on the final Price. But well they are the unique in Europe/USA that now can provide many Europe Layouts so that's nice.

The Realforce91UBY ( The Yellow/Black one that I read it's suposed to be all 45g weighted, I should be wrong but i read it on Diatec and other pages that provide them in Japan) it's in Japan near the 22500 JPY = 169 GBP = 200€ aprox. so we can think that only for the effort from bringing them here from Japan when them are only sold there may increase a bit the price.

Anyway I will wait until Bruce upload the Super Yum Yum Price on the web to decide ^^ I'm thinking about future colour combinations mmm:

If it's like mine, you lose the right-hand Windows key but gain 5 others. (Compared to US layout.)
It also does not have the extra key of ISO/Euro layouts.

So after using KeyTweak / Sharpkeys / a registry edit, worst case is you are three keys better off.

The extra keys:

If you get the black one the non-US shifted characters layout on the number row matters little.

You  really can't see them anyway.  Otherwise just plug it in and it'll act like a regular keyboard with an itty bitty space bar.   Think oompa loompa space bar.

Ok, well that makes it a lot better

^^

Saving money for unique gifts it's special. I will post my impressions next week when I receive the Keyboard. I know it's a bit expensive but I think I will appreciate this so much when I put my hands on it. Even if I've chosen to buy a HHKB 2 or some kind of Topre from EK I will have spent nearly the same so I prefer to buy this from the UK since I have good experience with Keyboardco but anyway there are not Black Tenkeyless in EK so I make the right decission.

It's strange that at home they said "WOW this keyboard it's so cool!" since every time I spend money on peripherals or computers they blame me because my room it's plenty of hardware and mice. I will have to clean up things to get money back.

Thank you ! :D

Bruce, is the Realforce Tenkeyless (86/87) with uniform weight a mystical beast that TKC can't get a hold of?

EDIT: I mean, the currently offered white 86u is interesting enough to give it a try, but variable weight won't work for me.

Right, he's saying he doesn't want a variable weight board; he wants a uniform weighted Realforce.

Hi Woody.

I took those as Topre had some on the shelf.
I am not sure if or when any Tenkeyless uniform switch will come up in that way, there are none available right now.
Of course, 87 yellow keys, all 45 ...... Super Yum Yum.
