Sorry guys, still no concrete news. I am expecting the call any day to say they are ready, and I still hope to have them in stock within a few weeks.
I will post here as soon as we get delivery and I am sure they won't all sell out in the first day or two. Much as it would please my accountant.
Thank you all for your patience.

yea I right the whole thread now too, really sad there won't be a white one, hwoever it may be better to have a black one on the long run. also I think being more visible in the dark doesn't really relate to real geeks! they can type blindfolded.

the tkless ger layout 45g uniweight. i think itll be superior to all the cherry boards seriously. maybe a g80-5000 could top it, but I'm not so sure about that.

I think if I wanted ANSI I would have already gotten a HHKB because I couldn't stand waiting, but I do think the realforce is the better choice. Looks much more sturdy.

Yeah I nearly grabbed one. But I know if I did I'd then want a realforce when that came out in a few weeks........If I get the realforce straight off I cant see I reason why I'd want the HHKB. Specially because its £260 ish to get one in the UK which is silly money for that board.

Ive been really close ordering a hhkb too, waiting for this realforce from tkc. Is it really £260 to uk? To Sweden its more like £310 lol :) With shipping, customs, vat and whatnot ;) Cheaper if youre lucky and the customs/post office dont notice ofc.

310 pounds must be so ****ing overpaid, I mean the layout is great for some people and it has good switches but.. its still plastic.

the only question left is ansi or iso? my hands are quite big so i think im going for iso, have no problems with hitting the enter key really

I cant hit those american enter keys :P I'm so used to the upper part of the vertical enter. Otherwise i would have bought a tkl realforce a long time ago.

SO I've heard and that sounds about right. There's a Japanese vendor on ebay doing them for £200 all in and in my experienced I rarely get taxed on anything coming from Taiwan, Japan or China. But that's usually because the chinese and taiwan vendors I use for stuff like high end tea mark the boxes as $3. Japanese vendors always seem to declare the full whack but I'm yet to get taxed on one of those. Pretty much every package I've had from the US gets the full force of customs though.

I have the cash right now Bruce! As soon as you list (even pre-order) I'm buying :)

I guess I have to wait longer.
Bruce, could you give us an estimate about the price?

Why do you prefer the ANSI for gaming?

I think that I should wait for a possible white ISO tenkeyless in the future. Don't like at all that kind of lettering that Realforce black keycaps have.

ANSI layout gets you the girls.
Filco tenkeyless (browns) - IBM Model M - Cherry G80-3000LSCEU (blues) Das Prof. S (blues)

ANSI FTW

The shorter left shift feels somewhat stiffer to the pinky comparing to the longer keys, and I hate the additional key there.
It makes everything a little bit confusing. Hitting that correctly sized shift makes everything plain and simple.

I don't care about the lettering as I tend to play blindly.
However I still believe the white keys have a smoother texture, that's why I want the black one this time.

Yeah its the same for me as Rigs said. If I lay my hand down on WASD my pinky naturally rests on the middle of the ANSI shift. On the ISO lay out this is basically between the keys.

Ahh no worries. I'll grab a HHKB while I wait :D

And like Rigs I prefer the ANSI for gaming. My pinky comes to rest bang in the middle of the left shift on ANSI. On iso it wants to rest between the two keys. This is even with being a life long ISO user.
