No it's not a fake...I guess some websites that sold it said it was made by Tag Heuer by mistake. (If what I'm thinking is correct). The only other explanation is it's authentic and they didn't do their homework correctly. I'm going to call them tomorrow and find out.

Finally got to the bottom of this mystery watch:

It's made by a company called Egana of Switzerland Corp and was part of their 'Carrera Speed Time collection'.

Here's mine.

Also a good time to show off the type faster stripes...

It's a wind-up Zeno  that I treated myself to about 6+ years ago.  Sadly, the local jewellers scratched the back so badly I wouldn't except it back until they polished out.  Can't read the writing on the back now...

It's Kinesio tape.  Goes from my wrist to my neck on both sides.

Here's my Seiko Automatic Mechanical that I picked up when I was on Holiday in Japan:

Most people don't like Jump Hour watches and write them off as being gimmicks but I love them :D

That is a very nice Seiko!  I like jump hours.  I love minute repeaters, but unfortunately I cant afford the majority of them!
addicted - in two weeks since finding site, have bought Cherry Blue, Brown, BS, and a Keytronic!

That actually reads like u have it implanted and it makes you indestructible, extremely fast and strong.

Unfortunately, I know what Kinesio tape is so my fantasy goes down the drain ...

Which leads  to the question: why isn't it pink? Real Kinesio tape gotta be pink :D

Looks like a good time to resurrect this thread...

Just changed to my first nato strap.  Much more comfortable than the previous leather strap.

Looking for a new watch.  I like some of the Mondaines, but can't make up my mind.

- as for the tape - I like the pink but it doesn't go with many of my clothes...

Some cool watches in this thread, I especially like the 80s Casio.

I've always wanted an Orient Diver or another nice automatic, but have a hard time justifying it to myself. I'm not a big fan of... time.

Nice Sub!

I have one also but actually don't like wearing it. People seem to think its a fake immediately LOL. I actually prefer my Omega Seamaster Auto. Similiar size but the Omega is much heavier and solid feeling. I have a Tag F1 Chrono that I started out with but haven't worn that in several years sadly. Too flashy for me now.

This is my current watch. Lost my last one that I really liked after a hockey training in a very dodgy area. RIP Casio watch = (.

There are some really neat and obscure watches in this thread. Fun stuff. I had the very first G-Shock back in '83. Some of the new more badass G-Shocks are really quite bold and impressively styled. I also had and liked the Pathfinder, for a plastic watch, it looked damn good on my arm while spearfishing or doing other manly stuff with chicks around. The plastic bands always should be replaced with a quality/better fitting band.

I've owned a few quality watches like Breitling, Movado, Tag Heuer, but the bottom line is I'm not much of a watch person, and wound up only wearing a nice one for looks occasionally. Even that stopped as I don't wear any bling, and wouldn't wear a ring if I was married.

The only function a watch serves for me is the timer/alarm/reminder for those rare occasions...all of which iPhone does. But it's nice not to have to need a big phone when a tiny watch will do (athletic activities, etc.).
