Yes, it is more expensive because they have to purge their machines for each color change.

I just got the color samples... It doesn't look like there are any purple/violet shades at all. There is one lilac color, which is about as close as it gets. For the pink lovers, there is one kinda sorta OK pink color (a little dingy), and a salmon color, but no really vivid shades. There are 8 mostly good looking shades of red, including one pretty nice brick color and some vivid reds. There are 6 oranges, all of which look pretty good, but none are super-vivid like that mock-up. There are 12 yellows, but most of them look like puke, about 4 look good.

There are 22 blues, most of which are pretty good, but none are very close to the blue-gray shades in the pretty mock-up that everyone likes.

There are 14 greens.

There are several good whites, blacks, a couple browns and tans and hundreds of grays and beiges that could match any plastic computing device ever made with any level of nicotine exposure. Also, clear, colorless/translucent and glow-in-the-dark.

I will post a picture if I can get one that gets the colors well (I will have to borrow a camera).

Here's my effort at a color scheme, I'm no 3D modeler

Colors probably aren't doable anyway, but I love the turquoise + fluorescent combo.

I think black, grey, white are good colors (the dolche scheme was pretty good). Any other and it gets really funky :X

Only problem with that is everybody already has the Dolch scheme.

I thought the NES scheme that dizzyone posted was awesome (basically grey & darker grey) but it didn't seem to get much response. I would totally vote for it though. Only thing I would do different is move the red up to the ESC and leave the WASDs alone

But you may be right that people don't like getting the popular color scheme :X but then again i don't rely mind that as long as its good.

My Speakers, casing, monitor and keyboard casing is black. I like to keep it a standard theme

I like the look of that, but the yellow Awesome just doesn't match well enough for me. Any chance of getting another set of meta keys as well, either diamonds or windows keys?

It seems that if we're to get a set with awesome face (if awesome face has to be yellow), then awesome face should be used in a keyset theme that has yellow as an integral part.

I agree. They need to match the other keys, but I just wanted to see how it looks. Regardless, the base set will include standard windows keys in addition to awesome face keys (the awesome key might even be an esc replacement rather than OS key).

You can order them from signature. There is one for ABS and one for PBT, $35 each. I only got the ABS one.

To tell the truth, I don't like it... Dark gray or red on black, or one of the nintendo schemes ftw :3
Also, imo awesome face looks awkward in yellow without white eyes and red mouth!
