This will be the 2nd of 5+ keyboards you will soon own.

It's funny because it would be true if I wasn't such a hater of the Enter keys on the 6G and if I could find a Model M around here for cheap.

I don't really like it too much. 90% of the hatred is coming from the keys getting jammed when I don't press them right on. I might try greasing them sometime in the near future and see if that does the trick. It's only a problem with a few of the keys

Thanks guys.
I think I'll get this one for the missus - I think she's getting a bit tired of the GHSS - or rather the **** eating grin I get when she starts typing.

From what I can see, the keys it come with are embossed style - perhaps laser-etched, with white ink?; whereas the extra order keys are either sublimation or pad printed

I don't know the actual weight of the 'board + packaging yet...so I can't make an accurate estimation.  You'll pay the actual shipping costs.  And for those of you not in the US or Canada, I will present the various options and let you decide how you want it shipped.  There will be no handling fee.  Actual shipping costs only.

Are orders still open?

If so, how does the function layer work? Do we have a map of it?

I hope its OK to ship to Aus...

Just a quick question, what sort of plug does the USB cable use on the keyboard?

Additional documents added to the first post.  ANSI is the only layout available right now.

The USB connector on the keyboard is the USB mini b (just like on the Leo, HHKB, etc)

I'll send it to you via whatever method you prefer...and you'll pay the actual shipping costs.  Don't have the weight of the keyboard with the packing materials yet, so I cannot estimate costs...but you can look at your preferred carrier.  It will be coming from Columbus, WI (USA - 53925)
