Haha, quoted from the product info page:

"You will never feel stress from fading letters that would make your keyboard crummy."

I'm kinda digging it.

If it were PBT I would't care if it's pad printed, lasered or whatever.

The ninja windows keys look like possible extra keys in the box.  There's a picture where they are shown with a key puller.

Ninja>Otaku

At least in the coolness of the name.

Otaku > ninja

Otaku you don't need any help to touch type, ninja you still need.

Interesting.  I wonder if they will sell these front printed keycaps separately.  Also a truly "Otaku" version would be the opposite of the ninja (with the printed letters on the opposite end). lol

I don't think so. That would be called a stalker version (for the people opposite to observe you).

Only ninjas can see what they are typing while others can't.

Btw, I think keyboard manufacturers have nothing new to innovate - Ninja, seriously?

We should have a Geekhack's Chuck Norris version keyboard out to fight them ninjas. =D

Or a "Samurai" version where each keystroke is a cut to your finger (slogan). lol

Hmm I like this. Could actually be really cool if there was a white body, tenkeyless, cherry blue, ninja (w/ black printing) board. I would buy that up in a heartbeat.

Nice.. I am afraid of the wear, my poor Filco board is on my shelf unless i need it for serious typing business.
If this gets released in sexy white, then i want one.

Question: Why does a keyboard needs to be Windows 7 certified?
Don't all HID come standardized? I wonder how much of that Windows 7 certification crap gets passed on to consumers. Geez

So they can have that stupid windows logo on 2 keys instead of some other symbol.

Full size is good choice if you use your mouse with your left hand.

Having a tenkeyless is largely about space savingness and ergonomics. Space saving for obvious reasons and ergonomic because you can have your mouse a little closer to natural arm placement.
Currently own:
Das S Ultimate with Browns
Cherry G84-4100 with ML Linear switches
Memorex Telex with NMB Space Invaders
Leopold with Blues

It has to do with ergonomics.  It's nice to not have to reach way out to the side for the mouse.   The added desk space is a plus too.  It all really depends on how much you use the number pad, though.  Accountants and 3D Modelers tend to use it quite a bit.

Yes, though it should also be mentioned that with a tenkeyless you can still buy a separate dedicated numpad, and then position that wherever you want (left, right, etc.) or just keep it in a drawer until you actually need it.  I'd argue tenkeyless is all about flexibility.

a few questions:
1) is there any build diference between the majestouch-2 and this? is it the same majestouch-2 with the new caps?
2) Is there a release date? Price point? (i know regular filco tenkeyless' go for like 130-140)

Is that an industrial space saving M with Cherry doubleshot caps hacked onto it? Maybe not, some of those keys have different legends...
