Derp, just found out you can turn off the annoying DeathAdder lights. This changes everything.

Try a CMstorm QF Rapid. If you get the one with cherry Red switches, it'll have a red plate. Otherwise, they're pretty similar (detachable cable, etc.), down to the same people complaining about the amount of branding on the keyboard.

Also, keep in mind you can only kind-of see the red plate through the keycaps, no matter what the photoshopped pictures look like, online.

Modded my imsto off-center stepped caps lock to center stemmed.  Only took 3 tries without a jig.  It's a hair too far to the right but I'm giving up for tonight.

Hey guys, new to this website, but I stalked here before buying my old keyboard (filco tenkeyless with browns)

I'm thinking of getting a few custom keys, while keeping a minimalist look on it. thinking going for blank whites from WASD, with light grey wasd and escape. Does anyone have any recommendations?

A little key replacement on the CM storm I got the other day with some grey keycaps just from WASD.

I like the less logo look.

It was surprisingly easy to replace the caps (first time doing it, useful You tube forum video link for the stabilisers as that would have been harder to work out!). Have some white ones on the way and will replace the letters with them when they arrive I think.
