I got Cherry switches (blue, brown, black, red) and the stabilizer clips.

You have individual loose switches for sale? How much are they?
Kinesis Contoured Advantage LF with Cherry MX Red switches / Extra keys mod / O-ring dampening mod / Dvorak layout. ErgoDox with buzzer mod.
Also: Kinesis Advantage Classic, Kinesis Contoured Model 110, Data911 TG3, Fingerworks Touchstream LP, KBC Poker (Cherry MX Red), IBM Space Saving keyboard (Buckling spring), Goldtouch GTU-0077 keyboard

I don't care what they cost: I'd rather order from WASD than mouser. Plus he has RED :o

I still want to try clears: I'll probably order 10 of them in my next mouser order.

I wonder if wasd can get some of the heavier switches that are meant for spacebars. I also wonder if his OEM will ever get clears in so that he could supply those as well.

yeah I like the heavier space bar switches as well, but it's easy enough to steal one from a POS board.  Greens are hard to find though but I think I have some coming w/ my old school doubleshots.

I like clears too... I blame WASD and Filco not offering clears for the number of keyboards and parts that I have laying around :)
Filco Majestouch-2 with Cherry Corp. doubleshot keys - Leopold Tenkeyless Tactile Force with Wyse doubleshots - Silicon Graphics 9500900 - WASD V1 - IBM Model M 52G9658 - Noppoo Choc Pro with Cherry lasered PBT keycaps - Wyse 900866-01 - Cherry G80-8200LPBUS/07 - Dell AT101W - several Cherry G81s (future doubleshot donors) (order of current preference) (dang I have too many keyboards, I really only need two)

I'd like to see some sadistic individual make a board of all grays

If I could get 87 pcb-mounted gray switches, I would do that.

what's gray: heavier clear?

Also, if one's making ergo-clears, I suddenly know what to do with all the heavier springs.

hey WASD dude, quick question(s):

The schedule has the white base going down in Q1; can you narrow that down a bit more?  Is it going to be closer to March/April?  Also have you seen samples of the board yet?  Will it be an off white (Leopold, Filco) or more bright white (Ducky, PLU87)?

Im going to say its going to be stark white just like his white keycaps.

I'm trying to get the same color as the keycaps. Initial talks says the base might be more of a beige color. They are still "checking".

As far as the timeline goes. It looks like Q1 is very busy for the factory and smaller side projects like this might have to wait. I have an order being placed right now, so I'll see if it can be included now. If not, it'll have to be pushed back to Q2.

WASD: Thanks for the updates and constant support for our community. When the 87 key comes out, will you also have an ISO version? (Doesn't bother me, but I'm just asking for ISO folks) Also, will you ever offer different base colors besides white(as of Q1-Q2) and black? Not a priority, but just curious if it's possible. I'm sure you'd get a lot of support from the Phantom folks if you had a tenkeyless case in different colors etc. I'm just rambling now, but thanks again.

I assume that he would have a ISO version since there was interest in a fullsize ISO there should be at least that much for a TKL ISO.

I think hes going to focus on getting white and the right color white first before looking at other colors, I also dont know what the demand would be for crazy colored cases for keyboards.

I dont think anyone interested in the phantom would be interested in colored cases as the Phantom is designed to fit a Filco.

Isn't the Phantom, Filco, and WASD very close in dimensions?

Also I dont think that WASD TKL is developed yet, so we dont know anything really yet. I personally am hopeig that he goes with the alternate idea.

Just saw the loose cherry MX switches, neat! They are faceplate mount, no diodes (NN). Do you plan to carry an additional variety? (with pins, with diodes) ie part numbers ending in DW ?

I would say if they did some heavy advertising they already would. I know they get lots of free advertising here which is probably already filling their plate for quick shipping.  With them continually changing to offer what the customers want ( barebones and the like ) they will most certainly solidify themselves as a top distributor in the states very quickly.

Agreed and once they get their base products I think they can start offering some more risky ones that people have been asking for and would have to come to them for.

Call me a fanboi but  all of my mech boards are WASD and unless I decide for some reason to go back to TKL (or want a dirt cheap used one for work) then I see no reason to buy anything else.

There are only a few things on my wishlist:

Pbt caps
Tkl
Side print jig for the laser so we can get that type of key customized.

I am totally impressed with WASD. They listen to what people in their market are asking for and do their best to meet those needs. They will reap the benefits.

You guys should really put the ISO keycaps on. I've been waiting to make an order on a bunch of stuff since they aren't on the site yet. Are you just waiting to put the full customs on or something? I don't know how it works, but I figure there shouldn't be much stopping you from putting the full ISO cap sets on ASAP, right?

I'm still working on the jigs for the keycap sets, but if you are looking for a blank set, you can just purchase the normal 104 or 87 key sets and put in the comments that you want an ISO version and we'll swap out the necessary keys.
