Why no Cherry MX Clears?
Is there any evidence that costar even does cherry clears? Hmm.

Just letting you know, when you start selling a Tenkeyless with blues, I'm going to do the most awesome custom legend board ever, cost is no object. I saw a recent Legend of Zelda board you did, and it is really awesome what you guys are willing to do with legends. SP, my supplier for keys won't touch a lot of those.

When TKL comes out I guess I'll be getting one, and gonna make some crazy legend as well. I'm not a big fan of TKL though :S idk.

Also when's that white case coming in? Been waiting forever xD

We are currently out of Cherry MX Blues and Brown for 104-key. (105-Key Brown was never in stock, but will be). Due to limitations in the shopping cart, I had to remove totally remove the option temporarily since the ETA is still pretty far out. A "backordered" note would still allow the option to be ordered. Pre-orders will open up about 2-3 weeks before the arrival the next shipment which is due around late April.

There will be an Italian 105-Key layout?

I think WASDKeyboards is going to become rich once he gets out his TKL version.
By the way, are you planning on selling Topre boards/topre keycaps, and PBT keycaps for MX switches ?

WASD says they'll have PBT later on this year. This is very exciting. I'm even now planning what keys I want. The possability of PBT dvorak sets is also exciting.

Now, I just have to wait for him to expand with a PBT dyesub machine, and it'll be perfect.

you need to get a purple color for the keycap sets.  I would order an 87 set the second it's available.

and then, if possible, make the print lime green or baby blue.  that would be so awesome.  pipe dream though.

I'm surprised you guys don't have more colors though.  You need some crazy ones, as I've seen around the site crazy colors are pretty common.

It could be if someone were willing to go through the design process for the symbols and invest in the molds.  SP (Signature Plastics) has stated that they will NOT use their clear plastic as the symbol in their DS key caps.  Their current design is such that the symbol will either be unlit or unevenly lit and they're not going to deal with it.  SP happens to make the Deck keys which are a 2-part key, but even that has its issues (light bleed around the seam).

The light bleed is easily fixed. A little black nail polish on the inside of the keys that bleed.........

consumer demand?  sales volume?  Call it what you will, but clears are a niche in an already niche market.

If Clears were one of the regular choices I am sure they would have a market like the other switches.

Amazon does sell G80s with clears in Germany, and they’re not that unpopular.

Sorry if I missed it somewhere but is there any idea of what the WASD v2 will look like? I'm not sure if I should wait for that or choose something else.

I have to wait until engineering confirms the features before I want to give more details. But what TheProfosist said is correct.

Detachable cable = Yes (we will avoid the cables used on the QuickFire and Rosewills since there is quite a bit of negative feedback about it being too stiff. Also, we will be using Micro USB instead of MiniUSB for higher plug in/out cycles)
Mic/Audio = No
USB = Yes
More tidbits = Red LED indicators with lower brightness and smaller opening

EDIT: I forgot I also wanted to mention in this thread that the PBT project got delayed due to an issue with the company making the mold. I'm sourcing a new mold making company right now, so I expect the keys to probably be available July now.
