Hopefully I get it before Monday/Tuesday.  Then I can take it to Disneyworld.  Not sure what I should take a picture with though.

I live near Orlando and take regular trips to Disney.

I'm game to get it with all of them.

Shipped USPS to Jam via Small Flate Rate Box.
Tracking: 03112550000015386004

Brown: This is my favorite switch. Lightwieght force, and very small tactile bump.
Blue: A little more of a initial bump to overcome next to browns, but just too noisy for my suroundings and could potientially cause some double tapping issues.
Black: Great response on the linear switch but may be too heavy for typing.
Red: Perfect lightweight force on a linear switch, but I have no interest in using linear switches.
Clear: Very heavy and a larger tactile bump compared to browns.
Ergo Clear: Just like browns with a bigger tactil bump except something about the spring doesn't feel right to me, as if double tapping could cause some problems.

Thanks for the review and the pic. :)

As much as I like the extra tactility of ergo clears, I had to stop using them because of the spring issue. :-/

Ergo clears frequently have a slight stick to them as they pop back up.

I see.  Maybe once modded, the weaker spring is not as powerful as the original Clear spring to push the stem back up because the bump is a bigger?

Yeah that sounds right.  Keyboardlover says the sticking diminishes over time.

Sign me up for the Europe tour, if such a thing ever comes :) I'm from Denmark

Since it's my first post, I understand that I haven't established any credability on this site, so I figured i'd introduce myself :)

I'm 19, live in Denmark. Currently studying in Aalborg Tech College (dunno if the Danish college is the same in the US cause our school system is alot different) on my last year, heading to university after summer to become an engineer (energy for those who are interested). I enjoy gaming (mostly League of Legends, SWTOR/WoW and of course Skyrim) and I simply love tangling with my computer. I'm very close to having my perfect setup, only thing I really need is a mechanical keyboard. I've been reading about the different Cherry switches, and I can't decide between Red or Blue, and I've only tried a freind's BlackWidow Ultimate, and I've heard that they use a modified version of the Cherry MX Blue? The testing pad is all I need to make a decision xD

So, is there a projected start date for round 2?

I signed up months ago and will promise a turn-around time of 48 hours.

Thanks for doing all this!

I'll start working out a Canadian route for litster's tester soon.  When mine gets back to me (2 more weeks maybe?) I'll put it back out on another US tour.

Canadians, is there something similar to a USPS flat rate box that is cheap and easy for shipping to each other inside Canada?

I sent the board out yesterday, tracking number #0311 1660 0001 4177 7201.

I know some people other Orlando people wanted to see it, but I didn't want Akimbo to have to wait a couple more days while we worked it out, since I've already had it for my 3 days.  I'm still working on the review and uploading my pictures, I'll try to do that this afternoon.

I'd like to be added to round two of the tour! I'm in Bloomington, IN. A few other people in my lab are interested in mechanicals, so this opportunity will be quite nice!

Thanks!

We have Flat Rate Xpresspost envelopes though I'm not sure if the tester will fit in it? Depends how thick it is. It is express though so it's a bit more expensive than normal. (Just checked and shipping within a region is just over $10CAD, around $15CAD for national, not including sales tax, there's also a much thicker flat rate envelope that the tester will probably fit in, but it's almost double the price I believe).

Should we all give you our addresses or at least our general region to help with the planning if we haven't done so?
I'm in Waterloo, Ontario.

Sorry for the FAQ, but this thread has so many entries and so far I can't find out how to actually get on the list to receive the tester.

I'm in southern Maine and would love the change to try it out, with a one-day turnaround.

Switch tester is a great idea; thanks for doing this.

All you have to do is post in the thread that you're interested -- it says so in the OP. :)

Added you to the list.
