I kind of want a "robot unicorn attack" so that it can go with nyancat to give double rainbows. The only thing is that I'm not sure where to put it because we'd need a long key for the unicorn and I imagine most people wouldn't want it on one of the letter rows and you can't do it on the bottom row because you can't have dyesub pbt spacebars.

How about the assassin's creed logo? Probably nice in black, but red isn't bad either.

In terms of copyright, the article here seems to have two conflicting opinions as to whether or not this is copyrighted. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Assassin%E2%80%99s_Creed_logo.svg

I'm not sure exactly what the logo is suppose to represent. It almost looks like it's a pair of calipers or some instrument used for cartography, in which case I'd be inclined to think that it's not copyrighted.

Seems like it's similar to the logo for the Freemason's guild, which would only support that theory.

Well, the zerg and protoss logos are simplistic, but well defined. In comparison this is just three curved lines pretty much. Maybe I could try to write something to Ubisoft to ask.

They are artwork which is part for the game, which is copyrighted. So I don't think you'll be able to get round the copyright/trademark for the AC logo. It would make a nice keycap tho, I can't deny that.

Whoa. You're not the only one. It might be hard to get that to fit, unless you put it on two lines. Might play around in photoshop for a bit...

I'm not ever sure how much interest there would be around here to begin with, but I assume that SP wouldn't do the logos of record labels? The Hospital records 'H' is pretty generic, but NinjaTune certainly is distinctive.

I think the point is that asking them to make keycaps with trademarked images is a major **** move. It's a tiny company and they probably don't have a full legal team to deal with researching whether or not some obscure-ass glyph is trademarked OR the resulting legal fall-out if they were to be caught producing such caps.

WASD is awesome. I've never had a problem with an order and the shipping is stupid fast (although I live like an hour away, I don't have a car or any good way to get to Milpitas). I'd like it if they stayed in business.

Fortunately a company like WASD can probably get away with the 'sold a SERVICE' defense and the suit falls through to the customer that bought the service in order to infringe copyright.

Yeah, MAYBE, but I wouldn't count on it as i am not well-versed in copyright/trademark law and they probably aren't either.

Better to made it large enough(using multiple keys) and fit in the whole alphabets cluster(may be will have some pixelated/puzzle look).

While I like the idea of a bat signal, I doubt if SP would do it due to the copyright issue. Outsource it to China and you shouldn't have a problem.

Follow my idea above, enlarge the whole logo onto more keys so that on each keys it will not carry any meaning and thus no reason for copyright issue? trollface.jpg\

Though I can't deny that the visual quality and price factor may need to be compromised...
