As you may notice people love full customization ( different shells colors, multiple keycaps colors, etc).
Is Unicomp willing to provide suche degree of custumisation to there customers. Also as you may know the ten key less boards are very popular ( The real space savers) are you going to offer that this kind of boards, like in the old IBM days?

Done! I also attached my mockup in the ticket.

Hmmm, someone should tell OCN, Deskthority, KBDMania and other forums to participate in this effort!

Along these lines, could I get a black Customizer (Or Ultra Classic or whatever they're called these days) with dark green keycaps as things currently are?
Got a smaller board with white ALPS, Montereys, Cherry Blues, Reds, or Clears you'd like to offload?  Shoot me a PM. Looking for a grey Leopold FC700R in particular.

Wyse buy colors were GSY for the dark grey, GBA for the light grey, and BBI for the fonts.

Since there is probably about to be a lot of pressure from this community towards Unicomp to make a tenkeyless/spacesaver model. Is there a preferred message we should be sending and what setting should we use. I think if everyone does their own thing on this then it might seem more like a nuisance than a actual set of people trying to make a difference.

I've submitted a request too but I'm not getting my hopes up to avoid dissappointment.
I would have thought that if it was even remotely possible for UNICOMP to make SSK's, they would have done so a long time ago?

The layout that bugfix made would be superb because it would fit the needs of ansi and iso users.

Also it would be easier for unicomp to produce just one model. We should firstly decide what we really want.

I belive it's far easier to accomodate multiple layouts with BS than it is with MX.

Isn't both 104 and 105 basicly the same board but different caps and hammers placed differently? I have understood they use same matrix and mountings, but diference is keys and where hammers are placed. So both ISO and ANSI is about same in dificulty and can be done at same time?
So I should add something useless here yes? Ok, ok...

submitted! really hope this happens.  I will help spread the word and buy a couple boards if they do come into production.  Please include media function as well as the embedded numpad like in the ibm ssk.  Also that little patch where the two buttons are for the trackpoint could we remove that?  I know its so you can use the same mold and just punch out the holes but it doesn't look very slick. :X
I think we can get at least 100 sold in a pre-order just from people at geekhack and maybe more at deskthority.  There is other people interested that want SSKs but can't afford the premium, also Unicomp has new springs and keycaps, not to mention customization.

If it means it will make including a trackpoint impossible, I'd rather have that patch there. Molds are expensive, they need to make one-fits-all.
