You are making sure to include the Filco+Leopold combination spacebar, correct?
Of course!
Just so I'm clear, if there are 45-49 orders for the base set you're going to buy the extra sets necessary to reach the 50 sets price point but everyone would still pay the 25 sets price?
Anyway,

Simply put, yes. However it isn't the up to 50 I am concerned about, I have wanted to do more than 50 orders from the start and I will be pretty disappointed if it doesn't. Since the discount for 75 puts us well below what everyone is expecting to pay anyways, I was thinking more about that. I already have 25 PMs in my inbox btw, and we have like 2 weeks till orders close hitting 75 shouldn't even be a problem. What I would really like to see is people hitting the 25 discount for the add on sets, that is what will make it more expensive for those people.
Regardless, I'll give you some math though to justify it.
Lets use Triforce as an example. I paid about $0.20 for each extra key I bought after taking advantage of the price difference between the 200 and 100 price points. I'm now selling them for $4, making $3.80 on each key. This is my biggest opportunity to profit from the last group buy. After mistakes/miscalculations, I have about 55 keys to sell, making me a cool $288, and it only required me to do without $16 for the time it takes me to sell them. (This is all public knowledge by now and if you flame me for it your order gets cancelled.) Compare that to the Nyancat Set, which cost me $145 out of pocket and made me $375, I make $230 but the margins are lower while the investment is much higher. Now lets apply that to this group buy, in which the costs are much higher still than the Nyancat set.
If I was to buy extra Ragnarok keysets, say for the sake of example we do get 50 orders, and I want to buy up to 75 for the next discount anyways. That amounts to ($3375-2600) an additional investment of $775. Some members will be like well yeah, but think of it this way, you only paid $31 a keyset, which is a fantastic deal. Since there is not much room to sell these for profit, I'd probably only be able to unload them in a reasonably quick timeframe pricing them at $60. So I make $29 per keyset. I have 25 to sell, so I make a cool $725, which is a great profit, but wait, who do I sell them to? If nobody on here had bought them I could sell them in that reasonably quick timeframe, but finding a bunch of people who aren't already in on this is probably my biggest concern. That and I simply don't have $775 sitting around I can comfortably do without for a couple of months or more. For individual keys, the margins are much better, and the initial investment I can afford, so it is best for me to just get this group buy done quickly so I can get back to doing individual keys. Like I said before, it would be really nice if everyone was willing to pay a higher price so I could make a decent return for the time I'll be putting into this one, but I don't expect that of you. Essentially, unless I luck out and orders stall at like 65-70, I'm going to make maybe, MAYBE $100 off of this group buy. At 65 orders I essentially get 10 keysets that don't cost me anything to buy and I can try to sell them for $50-60 and try and make my usual $500-1000 in compensation I have been. This has basically become my job while in school, and I treat it like one. However, I love this community and again, am doing this group buy more so that everyone can get some damn doubleshots than for my own rent payment.
Anyways, my comment in the OP about how it would be really nice for me if everyone wanted to thank me by stalling it at like 49 sets and paying $70 was a bit of sarcasm, but it would mean I get like $830 in exchange for doing it and have one extra set to sell, so near as makes no difference $900. That would fall right in line with what I would want to make off of a group buy, but I do not expect that nor want that to happen, I would be much happier with stalling at 65 sets, as I then can get the keysets into the hands of more people and make that money by selling them, not just for taking advantage of the quantity discounts. Between 65 and 75 I actually make less as it gets closer to 75, its just that I have less kits to sell and less burden to bear.
Sorry for the longcat response but I wanted to be clear on this, full disclosure etc.

One question, is the diamond super/meta key available in 1.25 also? (For filco)
Yes, by default, the base set comes with the 1.25x modifiers for the bottom row. The whole talk about 1.5x shenanigans is just so that guys with the Phantom keyboard can order extra keys in order to ensure Phantom compatibility. Disclaimer though, I know nothing about the Phantom keyboard, so if any of what is listed in the OP is incorrect, send your torches and pitchforks over to Tsangan.

Empty wallet logo on the modifiers.
That would be amazing lol. It looks like we're going to go with the diamond logo though, I've only gotten one vote for the windows key, and I personally despise Windows anyways. The blood splatter key wasn't something I was interested with or without an additional fee, for the reasons many have said before. In my next emails to Melissa I will ask her how big of a deal it would be to do one more custom key and have an empty wallet logo, and if there is no cutting fee for it I'll do it, would be great lol. (That would be the menu/meta or whatever key on the right side of the spacebar only) In the meantime we should get Hazel to see what he can do to make a logo that would work for a doubleshot. Honestly that is the biggest hurdle since you don't have much to work with.
Dave out.
