I would rather have them make more mistakes and fess up to them and fix them quickly as opposed to making few mistakes, but not handling them well.

I was really just agreeing with mkawa that SPs customer service is great.  If they make some mistakes and fix it right away its irritating, but not terrible.  If they were to make less mistakes but not fix them or have bad service, that would be infuriating.

Well, they should be doing both things right in the first place. Doing things right the first time and have good customer service. You can't just say, "hey they have good CS, so I don't mind them making so many mistakes!"

the big difference is that they're likely having to buffer their pricing with a margin to continue to make a profit on these mistakes.  if they made fewer mistakes, i'm willing to bet that they could afford to charge less (although we all know that wouldn't happen anyhow).

Ya whats up with their strange very low, very curved, very textured profile? I have a hard time investing in anything SP since the 'ESC guy w/ keyboard' I bought sits so low compared to my KBC caps. The curve and texture doesn't bother me so much but why so low? Are there some profile standards im missing out on? I know they have profiles listed on their website... kinda overwhelming for a noobie I guess. What profile are they using for their 'Row 1' aka... ROW 4? How do they compare to WASD's profile? sorry if this is a dumb question.

they're cherry profile key, there's nothing strange about it.  most of us actually prefer the lower profile over the taller Filco/Costar/OEM profile that most keys are coming in right now.

Yeah that is puzzling.  Melissa never mentioned payment for the bungled ISO shifts from my RGBY buy.  I just kept em and gave them out with the fixed ones.
