Just get your pick of a realforce board i prefer uniform 45g then 55g then type s then the normal variable. With that money you could also get some more colorful caps for the board.

That is way more than $500 but you can definitely still build your own custom tenkeyless

It's definitely worth the investment if the result is a keyboard you will love and use for years!
