Yeah well that's no good for me, since I bound my actions to QWER and use 1 for potion.

Because before Diablo 3, I played LoL.

The thinking was (at the time) that it would be cool if the base kit included the potion key, and the Gamer kit was meant to be extras of 1-4 + Q (since us D3 players are going to be pounding on those keys a lot, they may be the first to wear down

There may be a lot of extra keys certain people would want included in a set but not everyone buying the set necessarily does. I would imagine there are a lot of people who do not care for the potion key. It doesn't make sense to force each buyer to pay for one.

Maybe, but you could say the same thing about the Tyrael and Diablo specialty keys, yet we're being forced to buy those as well. The whole idea of this set from my perspective is bound to the Diablo universe, and with that reasoning it seems pretty logical that one would want a potion key to come with any "Diablo III" themed set of keycaps. Otherwise the base set shouldn't include any of the game themed caps IMO.

I like it a lot!  Great work on this... only thing I can say is that I'd prefer if the gamer kit included these 5 additional keys on top of the regular keys, this way I can opt to use it or not?

Meh. It's fine as is IMO. Not like you have to  buy some crazy addon for $50 to get the single key.

Nice. I like the portal alot.

I was thinking, would the potion bottle not look better with the cap filled in? As it is now it looks a little to light and linebased. A filled cap would give it a slightly more solid feel and keep the transparent glass different from the opaque parts.
Just a thought. Maybe you already tried this and discarded it for whatever reason.

BTW. This entire set looks amazing.

My only beef is, and IM sure i'm not the only one.. I actually rebound my action bar to sit one row lower..

IE

QWER and then F for pots..

And I moved the portal default away from T (naturally, dont want to start TP'ing in the middle of some carnage.. that would be bad).

I recommend anyone that has played some FPS to do this, if they havent already.. a thousand times more natural..

But leaves me in a pickle for this gamer add on set.. one row lower hmmph. would also mean my potion key, would need an F/J nub or dip..

I know you're not the only one, but it's not what the majority of people do.

The gamer set will remain on the number row and the potion and portal key on the row below.

There won't be a blank key to replace the 2@ key.

But there will be blanks to fill in the two spots on the lower rows. These would be blanks that would fit the row profile for the:
-|\ key (Row 1)
-#~ key (Row 2)
