lol but seriously that curly cable is awesome looking. Not my style, but I really like the color combo on it. Just trying to figure out what I want so I can get you to do one for me :D

The rope cables are actually made from rope lol. So whatever rope you can find that has a removable inner you can use.

I'm diggin the maroon/burgandy? paracord

I use a hhkb on my laptop like you do so I wouldn't need it to be very long. probably 15 or 16 inches I'd guess..

also is there any chance you will get black usb plastic housing?

What are the options available when it comes to doing a custom cable?

I would assume the length is one of the major options but other than that can we change the color, material, ends, etc?

Hmmm...

The only thing really stopping me designing a cable is that I use Leopolds and, well, they have the cable-running system underneath. The cable that comes with the boards is the exact width to fit appropriately in the runners and odds are with the thicker cables it will have an issue fitting.

Not sure if it's just lighting/white balance, but are any of the ends of the your "paracord" samples beige/cream or are they just white?

This one in particular: [ Attachment Invalid Or Does Not Exist ] 46728[/ATTACH] looks like it has that Noctua beige-maroon color scheme going on.

If so, I might be interested in it if it's for sale.

I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier, but if you guys want black ends I can just shrink wrap the white end black. Other then that next time I will get some black cables :)

I like the cables that have the ends without the white (or future black) plastic ends molded over the usb connectors. The heat shrink only is a very clean and more streamlined look.

WB: When you re-use the plastic covered usb connectors instead of the uncovered connectors, do you have the cable soldered together under the heat shrink?

Yes! I like just the shrink-wrap as well. I had issues with some of the plastic around the connectors blocking the cable from going fully into the poker so this works much better. Also sometimes I don the soldering under the shrink-wrap at the end of the cable which allows for a little more flexibility in the end of the cable so you can route it left or right.

Well the airbrush ones aren't available anymore as they are very expensive. The techflex and paracord ones are the thinnest. Followed by the double wrap techflex & paracord ones are a little thicker and more expensive. The rope ones are the thickest.

I would say the paracord ones are pretty cool and currently I have light blue and burgundy color available.
