Red, Blue, White, Green acrylic cases will be available in the next round. But no clear case in the next round, in order to thank the people who are in my first acrylic group buy. :)

The pictures look awesome.  I'm putting my RETRO/xxxRGBYSYM set on mine.  It's too bad that only this first group can get the Clear cases.  ;-)  The colors will look awesome too, though.

Do you think these will fit a CM QuickFire Rapid TKL?  What a great way to get rid of those Cooler Master logos!

Feng,

Got my case today and it looks great. I am having fitment issues with this case. The OEM filco space bar and right shift hits the case which makes these keys unusable.
What should I do?

Thanks

boost,

Have you tried moving the board within the case a bit? I found that it will move a fraction of a mm if you push it one way or the other. That might be it.

I'm not one to complain, but these don't feel like a final product to me. More like a pre-release run. The right side of the case doesn't go together all the way on mine, due to my board's controller height. And due to the cutout for the main key section being radiused slightly on the corners, my Ctrl keys stick in the down position when actuated. And the cutout for the cord doesn't keep the cord in place AT ALL. A slight tug is all it takes for the cord to come loose from the case housing.

Looks very nice. Glue is noticeable on close inspection, but doesn't really detract from the aesthetic. Aside from some minor issues, this would be a great product. But it's just not ready for mass production, yet.

I was on vacation and just got to the office where my case was waiting for me.  I won't be able to try to install it until tonight, but one of the cross pieces between F4 and F5 is broken.  :-(

It was packed inside a styrofoam insert, inside a small box.  The packing, while okay for shock protection offered little or no crush protection.  The break could have happened before, during or after packing and shipping though.

I put a Filco PCB into the case and there is not enough clearance for the little controler so the case does not close completely.  I tried shifting the PCB this way and that and I tried flipping everything over, upside down and adjusting the keyboard into the top half first and then putting the bottom on, there just isn't enough space for the controller to allow the case to fit all the way together.

Between the case not fitting and the broken piece, I'm not thrilled.  :^(

Mine arrived today and I don't have any positivity to add either im afraid, ill keep it simple.

1. Case doesn't clear the Filco controller
2. Space bar is unusable
3. Enter key is unusable
4. Overall the case just does not fit a Filco

There were no broken pieces and from what i saw, the glue is barely visible. The key on the other hand is beautiful :)

So  yeah im not gonna be happy without a) working replacement b) refund.  The guy who made these should of tested more or offered them up as  prototypes and not finished product.

Big thanks to feng for  bringing this to us and shipping out fast, it isn't his fault. Its just  unfortunate that these are not finished cases.

Too many issues with these acrylic cases. I gotta talk to MKC about the fitting issues before running the next round.

The most general problem is that the right side of this case would not be completely closed. Regarding the keys issue, KBC's PBT spacebar would fit well, but the OEM Filco spacebar doesn't. And I've heard some other keys like Enter or Right-Shift also have the problems.
