@fossala - I'm sorry that you're leaving. See you at DH.

Unlucky fossala is leaving. I was never that familiar with him, but judging from the responses ITT, it seems like he was a valuable member of the community and will be missed, for those of us that aren't also over at DT already.

I have to agree with some of what he was saying, though. For a while there I stopped coming here, mostly because I was so busy, I didn't really want to spend my spare time reading people going out of their way to rip on Ducky keyboards for no reason (as an example), and/or just generally ****ting up what were otherwise decent threads.

I'm starting to force myself to have more time off, though, so I should be appearing a bit more around here again in the near future, though.
Current collection:
Filco Majestouch 104-Key, w/ MX Browns
IBM Model M 52G9700
Leopold FC200R, "white" w/ MX Clears
Ducky DK9008S \'Shining\', white backlit w/ MX Blues
Cherry G80-3494(LCYUS-2), w/ MX Reds for Portal Mod

Not mine, but I\'ve got access to:
Filco Majestouch Linear R Limited Edition, w/ MX Reds
Filco Majestouch 2 \'Ninja\' Tenkeyless, w/ MX Blues
Leopold FC500R, w/ MX Browns

I only wanted to re-join to get some cherry greens.

Anyway, how can a post count go down? It's not like I was deleting my GH posts.

They sure do talk about Geekhack a LOT at Deskthority.

GH is pretty fail now. It's sad, too, because, IMO, it really helped open up the mechanical keyboard "scene" in the US.

Then the OCN crowd came along...

My take is that Deskthority is where haters go who can't handle the reality of Geekhack.

Some complain about DT being too "vintage,"...

How's that ClickClack of yours?  Put it on a Topre yet?  I hope you still have one!

Yeah I doubt Webwit will ban auctions anytime soon.  After all, the Dutch Auction is named after his country.

Kinda like my ClickClack sale thread but nobody ever bids!

The Click Clack looks great on my Topre 103UB, thanks!  I'll try to get a pic today.

Well, maybe not THAT great for Keyboard Science...but the wikis are improving.

Unlike here, where they just get deleted and/or rolled back into the ether....  :-/

welcome to geekhack -- where we like to type -- but don\'t care about reading
...thankfully, since everything good gets deleted by prepubescent egomaniacs.  :-/
