How do you make these? Is it similar to the whole "Make your own keycaps" thread from a while back?

Got a smaller board with white ALPS, Montereys, Cherry Blues, Reds, or Clears you'd like to offload?  Shoot me a PM. Looking for a grey Leopold FC700R in particular.

Wyse buy colors were GSY for the dark grey, GBA for the light grey, and BBI for the fonts.

Well, I hope you are wrong about that cactux, but it does seem like geekhack.org is becoming more and more mercenaryshill.com.  :-(

I still think that sharing ideas openly and working collaboratively is a good idea.  I would like to hope that people will stop being selfish with their ideas and creativity, and that we can get back to sharing and building the coolest keyboards on the planet.  If that era is truly over here, and everything cool is going to be kept a big secret so the creator can turn a buck, well... that'll be sad.

I actually am working on a keyboard cover idea, and I may even offer some for sale; but I'm certainly not going to refuse to explain how they are made, what little tailoring tricks make them work, where to get the materials, etc.

There is a thread in the modification section which explains how to create your own keycaps.

You just carve a blank keycap, make a mold out of it, and then put the plastic in the mold.

I'm in the process of doing a "How to" but not completed yet and it has very very ****ty pictures. Once I get my camera(t3i) it should be up shortly after that.
