I really fear for my wallet right now. 6 months without buying a keyboard and, now that I joined Geekhack, 2 in the same week, plus some keycaps ...
Is that the true effect of this forum?

All this to say that I noticed a good looking white label Model M 1391401 on clickykeyboards.com this morning. Only wanted a screwdriver leave the site with a model M in the mail and some less $...

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I was adviced to post this here. I would not like to be a spammer though. Just want to share this with the community as I think it is very cool. It is a potato render of my upcoming Granite set on my Poker X, that I called Poker Patriot. Hope you like it. It should be in my mailbox soon, as SP has improved its lead times for GB, as it may confirmed by the recent Macross set that is now been delivered just after a few weeks of the GB.

Just bought my first mechanical, Poker 2 with cherry switches.  Cant wait for it to get shipped/arrive!!

what kind of switch? Getting a poker II is implied that it has cherrys

I got blues, wanted browns until i tried out blues.  Just wish they weren't so loud!

Until you tried BS keyboard - you have no idea what loud switch really is :)

Until you have tried this, you have no idea how loud BS can go.

CM Storm Quickfire Stealth - Cherry MX Browns, took me almost a year to reach a decision, I realized that TKL is good enough size, that I need the arrow keys and that I don't want to press more than one key in order to use my function and home, end keys.

At last got my Poker II from Banggood. Well... Not bad, not bad at all. Although it must take a while to get used to get used to. Anyone has English manual? Because I still can't guess how to quit from FN mode not to activating Toggle mode.

But - actually I like it. It's nice and compact, and comes with pretty good doubleshot RGB mod and decent wire cap puller. Now I need only good keycaps set for it. So... when I'll have money, I'd probably go for DSA granite mod. Meanwhile - I think caps from my old BlackWidow will do :) For a while.

Matias standard clicky for my dell at102w and a wire keycap puller.

Nice buy! Is it easy to replace switches to Matias ones? And is it fully compatible with Alps mount? I have board with few faulty Monterey switches, and I've been told it's almost impossible to clean them, so...

Thank you, kind sir :) You are a scholar and a gentleman :)

And yes, it appears that without Toggle mode (fn + Right shift) first use of arrow keys with fn key locks them in arrow mode. Funny, cuz in manual said it's only fn + Space does it)

Got a near mint looking beige and cream doubleshot G80-1800 set coming to me cheap from China via taobao and an awesome redditor there now.  Also coming with it will be some Alps clones and some Kaihl switches.  I think I'll also be picking up some of those funky pink POM stems someone showed off in here too.

It would be awesome if you can post a review of the programming functionality. I know there are many reviews on the Poker already, but the 4 or 5 I have read did not explain the PN functionality deeply. Well, maybe that functionality is just way too simple to write more than a few lines, but I am trying to make my mind regarding the purchasing of a new Poker II or a new Leopold FN660M.

Yo....could you send a few my way? The Kalih switches and the pink stems? I'm really curious about those.

Well, when I'll get to programming functions, maybe I'll bang up review - when I'll think what I need programming for :) It was bought just as nice and portable keyboard for work. But... did you read English manual for Poker II? There are section for programming - "a few lines", as you said ;)
