Classy, with a big serve of I want that :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Yeap, for my SG taobao spree, but those keyboard bags are mainly for myself, with 5-10 extras and mousepads for anyone who wants one.

Medium mousepad for $7 SGD and keyboard bag for $18 SGD. ONLY!  :p :p

EDIT: Rainbow keycaps coming up!

ISO 100, correct white balance and a tripod is all you need.  Macro close up!  Oh and some mad camera positioning skills son.

ISO 100 you better have some awesome lighting haha

depends on your camera if its a good DSLR then you can go up to ISO 1800 without any noise, I've shot at ISO 3200 on a Canon 6D and it was still nice and crisp no noise at all

>>What did you get in the mail today?

Yesterday night got the wife's Kindle Fire 8.9 (We'll be travelling for the holidays so she just opened it now)

It's neat, but I don't much see what is so unique about it. If I wanted to watch a show, I own a TV. If I wanted to read a book, I own a bookshelf full of em and a nook e-reader on top of that. If I want to play a game, I own a 360 and a gaming PC. There's nothing it does that something else doesn't do better.

However, the screen is REALLY nice on it and the speakers are acceptable too. Watching Tintin on it looked amazing despite the small screen (I'm comparing to a 23 inch desktop monitor.) I wish they were more open on the Amazon account ecosystem (I have a ton of music on MY account but since it's registered to her, I can't access it unless I download my songs, and upload them on her account, or buy them all again.)

Either way she likes it. Spent $250 (got it on deal) on the thing and she's using it to play Diner Dash.

Sigh.

Dan's doing it right with the ISO 100 ;) Why bother with noisy images when you have a tripod that lets you take longer exposures!

boost, this guy has some interesting videos that I like.

Otherwise I learnt a lot from the tutorials on Digital Photography School.

you only get noisy image from high ISO from lower quality cameras, if the technology is there to use higher ISO without repercussions I don't see why you wouldn't as it lets you shoot in a much more flexible environment

we're in the age that shooting at ISO 800 does not provide the same noise it once did which allows you to shoot with a lot less light and still get away with it

of course in the end using the base ISO of 100 or if you have the newer Nikon cameras the base ISO is 200 will provide the "best" picture

Haha thanks everyone. I was super excited when this came in. I thought the photo came out a little grainy. I'm supposed to be getting my Valentine's key cap set tomorrow. I think I'm going to enjoy the ninja caps for a little while. Then swap everything out for the Valentine's set and then mod the board so that I can have a detachable cable ^_^
