PS2 to bare-wire cable from Nubbinator.  Kind of a steel grey, goes quite nicely with the Dolch, if I do say so myself...   :thumb:

my first ever thick PBT set, bought from mm87.

enter sticks a little, probably due to being a lot lower profile than the stock filco caps. any suggestions guys? :)

the inserts tend to be loose in non OEM caps for some reason.  I had a few issues with my thick PBT on my filco and i found that i had to cut 2 small squares like 1/4" x 1/4" big from a ziplock sandwich bag and put them on top of each other (essentially making it a bit thicker) over the insert holes and then press the insert into the cap.  the binding could be from the insert slipping out of the cap after you let go of enter.

oh cool, thanks for that tip....the first time i inserted the enter cap, it got completely stuck in the bottomed out position. i think it's due to the lower profile of the key, that the costar stabilizer wire grinds on the inner wall on the bottom of the key. but i will try this anyway :)

it's only on the enter key, no other key is affected

So I got my FC660M (MX Clear) and KeyCool 84 (gaming on PC, replace Realforce UB88). <3
Album here

Quite surprised by the MX Clear. Damn they will make my fingers strong. Or KILL them. ;)  Love it but for heavy typing, I do question that choice for the CODE KB.

The KeyCool 84 is light, I enjoy the MX Black for gaming and I'm surprised by how well it's packaged and stuffed with extras. Low price, good feeling, thx China... I got those 2 from Qtang.

I don't know if I'll have time to write a proper review in english (not this week anyway) but if you have questions, I'll be around of course. (I will be reviewing them for work, in french. Sorry !)

PS : I also got a set of PBT side printed white keycaps (also from QT). I'll use part of it on the Keycool I think. Bought them on whim...

First time I'd gotten two packages with key caps from a couple of local sellers......but pretty plain run-of-the-mill ones, not into clacks and such. Two red Topre 'Esc' keys and three Zinc alloy Transformers/Mario key caps, as well as two PBT DOTA.....nothing spectacular, rather embarrassed to post this actually.

Is it possible to actually press and bottom out the key with the hand keycap? It's the first "artistic" keycap that looks possibly useable, but the overlapping somehow bothers me.

Not right now, there is not enough clearance from the back of the case. However, Binge is making a Hand-e cap v4 and that will be in a higher profile.  :)

Yeah, not able to bottom out on the qfr due to the case.  On my pure, no problems at all.  When in the qfr, I have an o ring on the cap to keep from bottoming out  :thumb:

Just to clarify... this is only an issue with high-profile cases.  Race, poker, pure, and a variety of cases have no problems with this design.  Coolermaster has very high lips on their cases and this does cause issues.

Gift of a Nixdorf pcb, not in the mail, but close enough. Switches need a little cleaning.  :))
