F>M by far, imo

Least controversial opinion ever...

Edit: Is it actually even an opinion, or is it just a fact?

Fact. I didn't even touch one of my SSKs since weeks...

I never tried a F122... but I think it would be a bit too huge for my taste.

Out of curiosity is a 4704 107 key or a model F 122 key larger.

THe F-122 is] way too big. Honestly, the unsaver is a very good compromise. But nothing comes close to a tinsaver so far. I regret cancelling my order for one. I just honestly didn't believe anything would come of the controllers or other projects, and that I would end up with another board that I wouldn't/couldn't use. Now, it looks like it's going to be a rough time getting one. But it's fine. Here's hoping the XTant project produces something that can drop in a Poker tray.

+1

anything bigger than TKL is too big for me, but I am going to use my F-122 simply because the switches are so nice

I hope to get a kish/tinsaver and a F AT one day

That was ridiculously fast.  Glad to see it made it and that additional insurance was unnecessary.

Got these beauties today. Sincere thanks to both Sprit and Hoffman for getting these to my door. My only regret is that I didn't order more!

These 78g springs feel beyond divine in Cherry Clears. To my fingers they feel almost identical in weight to the stock clear springs except noticeably more tactile on the downstroke. I always felt that Clears were kind of numb on the downstroke and more tactile on the upstroke. With the 78g springs they feel as tactile on the up and down stroke as the stock springs felt on the upstroke.

Filco MJ2 TKL (Cherry Clears)  |  Phantom 87 (78g Gateron Clears)  |  Phantom 86 (67g Zealios)

Just submit an application and make any snarky comment about Steve's brother Scott  :)). Also his job means that the downstairs fridge in my house looks like a New Glarus store.

Got some GMK colour mods from EK. So pretty! :-*

So many possibilities. Just need some GMK Cyan and Olivetti and I'll be set (for a while).

I couldn't for the life of me get the full keyboard to focus with my phone camera, lighting issue I think.

Of all the springs I handled, I find 85g the best looking. Something about the wide coils...just looks really pretty. :))

Pretty great. The dolch is in almost perfect condition, and the cherry set was a little dirty, but after a bath only a few of the keys a tiny bit yellowed

I know. I was asking him if he would mind me running a CMYK buy earlier in the summer [didnt want to step on his toes knowing he did the last one], I thought it would be a good GB for me to handle cause I want the hell out of it.
Then he informed me of his plans, and I've been patiently waiting ever since.

Nice tape on the box lid too :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
