Those Feather blades are ridiculously sharp. If you haven't wet shaved before try a few different blades. Gillette 7 o'clock green are a safer option.

Is the Otoku shaving soap? Let us know how that works out. Do we have a wet shave thread??

We don't have a wetshaving thread. I started one over on kbd, but it didn't really take (much like every thread in the English board) which is sad because it's one of the only ones there that would've offered content instead of asking how many points you need to see the Buy and Sell subforum. Tangent...

Would you like me to start one?

Also, yes. I made note of the Feather sharpness, but it seems people want to use them more when you say that... Gillette 7 o'clock Sharpedge (yellow) are my best blade.

I would like that thread. I am waiting on my dreadnought shaving kit (from massdrop). Will be my first time with one of these.

I am also saving money to buy myself a straight razor (using stupid gilette plastic normal razor now). I am aiming for a Hart Steel cocobolo 7/8 but I am still not 100% sure if I will go with 7/8 or 6/8 and it's a tough call since I never used a straight razor before.

That's a great price for Clears.  And for anyone interested you can buy it here or buy it here.

That does look like a fun little KB, though I'd go to town on it and mod the switches and LEDs and maybe even the plates. Definitely looks to be a fun little project board.

It looks like those caps use the same process as Deck caps.  I didn't know anyone else made key caps like that.

Yeah, I bought this one from the first link you'd provided, picked it up in person to save on shipping.

I'm watching a couple of threads where people are modding these keyboards, there is at least one fix for the 12v LEDs already (involves a separate lead from the PC power supply...), but I'd actually like to swap the white LEDs for green/cyan ones.

TG3 is the parent company of Deck, I understand the clear/colored cases are an easy update if I get tired of the cop car keyboard look.   :p

Do they not use the standard Deck LEDs that they give you info on?  If they don't and they are 12v LEDs (I didn't know those existed), shouldn't you be able to cut the trace on the PCB to the LEDs and bridge it with a resistor to drop the voltage of the LEDs to the right voltage?

And I didn't know that about Deck, makes me appreciate the price of that keyboard even more.

And at $15, those cases aren't all that expensive.

Got these yesterday. First impressions, the used is visible, but not audible. The cable is unruly, so I'll have to do a detachable cable mod to them. Finally, they sound very very nice, I now understand why people buy nice headphones.

I've got some of these ex-military units on the way, via a rather complicated shipping scheme.   :-X  Let me know how it goes with the modding, and how they feel to actually use!  I guess if I can't get one to work I can at least harvest the keycaps..   :p

Soon, instead of having to pay for international shipping and waiting, you'll be able to purchase that more locally.

This is not meant so much as sniping as pexon seems to be a cool dude and I follow his stuff on facebook, but mainly as an education on incoming option.

I have an amp, yep. A CMOY from JDSLabs for portable use, and a Sansui B-3000 for in my room. The wear is very minimal, but I noticed a nick here or there in the earcups, which I could care less about. Very nice buy and I'm very pleased.

Let us know how your cable mod goes, I may be interested in getting one of Pexon's MDPC-sleeved cables for my ATHM50
I plan on using mini-XLR for my mod. I was thinking a sleeved cable would be nice, but I can get sleeving and make my own :) It's not too bad for me.
Got these yesterday. First impressions, the used is visible, but not audible. The cable is unruly, so I'll have to do a detachable cable mod to them. Finally, they sound very very nice, I now understand why people buy nice headphones.

Soon, instead of having to pay for international shipping and waiting, you'll be able to purchase that more locally.

This is not meant so much as sniping as pexon seems to be a cool dude and I follow his stuff on facebook, but mainly as an education on incoming option.
Aye aye Klax'n. Thanks for the heads up. :)

Now THAT'S a good idea. Custom cable from Pexon would be awesome.

Yeah, that tab symbol legend really bothers me. The octothorpe does as well.

Very, very nice. The tab legend doesn't bother me at all. Some of you guys just need to get past that.
