I added the tai hao I got from massdrop yesterday.
I hate the stupid layout on this keyboard, it's like an ugly mix between ANSI and ISO.

In the end.. the keyboard's most grand form of existence is as an ethereal bridge between man and machine..    Each depression of the keys, evanescent.. Our transitory thoughts crashing into the web, carving canyons through the internet wasteland such that life may once again flourish..

You can fix that enter if you are willing to go to effort to have new plate cut and disassemble/reassemble. The Japanese model uses an ISO enter... it still perplexes me that they use ugly bigass enter for European layouts. The same OEM makes the Zowies too, and they didn't make that dumb mistake. It's really too bad, as besides from the stupid enter Steelseries are pretty nice.

It's definitely a good keyboard for the money. I'll buy a tenkeyless ANSI board soon so the short shifts and the big enter key won't be a problem for much longer.

I added this beautiful DSA Dolch keyset that I received from the very generous ApocalypseMaow!

Here are some shots:

He got in contact with me after I posted in Hoffman's giveaway thread, and delivered!
This is my first keyset I'm trying apart from the old Chicony caps that were on the board I built my custom from. They feel phenomenal, I'm really loving the DSA profile.

I'd like to say another massive thank you to Maow, I can't wait to repay the favour some day :D

O-rings - they feel kinda weird but because the key travel is shorter I'm typing more quickly.
Also, I have an MX Green switch for my Spaces bar - i didn't realise that I would.

Got my Kingsaver with complicated blue alps today. Thanks to Nubbinator for getting it assembled and shipped out ridiculously fast, and Calavera for sending me the updated firmware and an installation guide which fixed an LED issue.

More

The spacebar from my Wang 724 set is a little yellow. It doesn't bother me that much but I'll be keeping an eye out on eBay for one that's less discolored.

I put some of the Sony BVE-910 keycaps on just to see what they'd look like. The profile doesn't quite match up, but I don't even notice it when I'm typing (it helps that they're dyesub PBT just like the wang caps, so the texture feels the same) and they add a little color. Kind of fun for a change of pace.

Nubbs also included a Dolly and one of his new cassette caps! I don't have anything to put these on just yet since they're MX, but as soon as the Novatouch is available I'll be showing them off on there  :D

Edit: aaaaand I just realized I put this in the "what did you add to your keyboard today" thread instead of the "what did you get in the mail today" thread. Whoops.

Today I switched out the caps on my GON. Was using the dolch set, but I've finally come to terms with the fact that I don't like DSA. So I put the caps from my Das on it, and I'm loving them.

It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Man, I was so in love with that set when I first saw it.
Then Granite DSA happened, and before I knew it...

WYSE DSA? What's that?
